|I was born in Arkansas, grew up in Yell Co., AR close to the Logan Co. line. In 2011 retired and now living in Coos Bay, OR.|
My mother was a Davis, I am a descendant of John Henry Davis born in SC and died Johnson Co., AR.
Family names on my mother's side ar Berry, Davis, Hill, Horn, Howe, Newberry, Stewart.
On my Fathers side I am a descendant of Willim Morris born 1735 and died 1804 Mecklenburg County,NC and John Foard (one of the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence signers). Othe family names on my Fathers side ar Dexter,Houston, Jones, Kester, Morris,Shaffer.
I got interested in tracing my ancestors around 1980 and wish I had started sooner so I could have gotten more information from my grandmoter (my father's mother) because I have run into a brick wall on her family. When I started I did not have a computer and it was many trips to the libraries and court houses and copy machines. But along came more technology making everything much easier. When I go to do interview I take my tape record, laptop, scanner and camera. I have collected so much information that I had to get an external drive 500 GB, which is almot full. This is dedicated to genealogy only, ready for the bigger external drive.
When it is feasible I go out and take pictures of head stone and place them on findagrave. I try to be of assistance whenever possible.
At the present my family tree has 33,984 people of course I am not related to all of them. Wehn I am doing research I usually go as far as I can when I am tracing people, which I then end up with people I can share with their families that are searching.
I have made serval contact through findagrave and found many distant relatives.

|Martin Burrell||Isaac F. Yoakum @ Dallas Cem.|
I have added his Oregon Death Certificate. He was born in Claiborne County, Tennessee to Martha E. [VanBebber] and Ewing B. Yoakum. His parents were both born in Tennessee [likely in Claiborne County].
They were a farming family with many children. The father died about 1870 and his wife carried on with help from her children. There is a cemetery located in the county that uses the name Yoakum Cemetery. There are many Yoakum folk's remains buried there.
Thank you, Martin Burrell

It says that JMetcalf is the creator of the Eidson pages. Isn't that you? And I did request a transfer from the memorial page back in Sept of 2012. I have never had any problems with getting a transfer in the past. Please let me know what I'm doing wrong and who do I contact to get the transfer.

Is there a problem with you transferring the Eidson family to me? Are you related?
