Hi Annie, this memorial was set up after the first one was done June 2014. Would you please delete yours? Thank you.

Thank You Annie! I do have Theodore's obituary. But, thanks. I'm still working on the George/William S issue. Not sure what to think about that. One of William's descendants insists that there are
two brothers but has not given me any new documents to back that up. So, will continue to search. Thanks for you efforts on my behalf. It's sometimes hard to do research when you live so far away and cannot travel. So, I am grateful for those willing to help out. Thanks again.

Thanks Annie! This is just the weirdest! I think he went by both names. I'm wondering if he didn't use the George Philip because Philip was his father's name, but the legal name as you say was William Syrus. Just plain weird. Philip had so many sons, there's not a good reason why this particular son would have been given 4 names. But, the George in the 1880 census just plain disappears after that, so I'm guessing they are the same person and the census person misunderstood and thought it was 2 persons. Crazy! Thanks again!

Thank You for answering my message. Since I asked this ? I located the death certificate, the newspaper article and another article that throws more confusion into this person.
There is also a Newspaper funeral notice for William S G P Bradley. I'm so confused! Not sure what to make of all of this. Because of these 3 items, I tending to believe that this is just one person. But, the problem comes as they are listed as 2 separate persons in the 1880 census. By any chance are you related to this Bradley family or do you know anyone that is? I'd love to be able to find a descendant that maybe had stories passed down about this person to see whether we can figure this out. Wow, the Twists and Turns can be nuts sometimes! Also on the death certificate they added the name George to his father's name. That is the first time I've seen that anywhere. And when really looking at it, the writing that changed the names is the same writing of the person that actually signed off(so probably the coroner since it was an accident). So, I tend to think that was an official change and not a change made at a later date. What would your opinion be about that?
