Interesting that your family thought so much of the Deens that you were named after them. I descend from a J. E. Deen who is a double 1st cousin to the J. E. Deen family you were named after. Thanks for sharing. Do you have any other memories of the Deens.

Just noticed that you gave information on Della Mills as Thomas Matthew Mills's sister. Actually she was Uncle Matt's second wife. I am not sure of her maiden name but will see if I can find out what it is. Thanks for all the good work on Find-a-Grave.
|Joy Favors||Imogene Braly Coffee|
Imogene Braly Coffee #37196154 has her mother Emma Braly 1866-1937. This is her Grandmother, the mother of Solon. Her mother is Georgia Pauline Crawford Braly and the wife of Solon. I've tried to get this corrected and Lin is the memorial owner and she will not change it. It shows on her page that you gave this information. Would you look at it and email her or send a correction in the correction box and if she does not change it, I will notify Find A Grave. Joy

Hi...I was researching the cemetery records for a photo request and I can find no record of him being buried in Elmwood. IF he is he is likely in the plot that I photographed and posted. Most of the Triggs in Elmwood were re-interred here from elsewhere. In the plot that I photographed (Chapel Hill 620-21) at least seven folks were moved in on March 22, 1860. One of these is listed as H.W. Trigg and then latter someone wrote in that the 1st name was Henry. There definitely is no W.H. or Willian H. Trigg listed. Just thought you might want to know. Thanks.

Thank you for posting our great-great-grandfather's headstone. Did you find any other Wilsons in Grace Hill?
My GGgrandfather was Charles Alexander "Charlie" Bolton, Jr. (Memorial#115852720). Thank you for what you have done for his memorial. I just thought I would add what I have found out from my father. Charles was born 1/6/1834 and died in 1882. His daughter, Sarah Elizabeth was my Ggrandmother. She died in childbirth on 12/13/1895, leaving a baby and two small children, one of which was my grandfather. She had two siblings, Oscar and John. They are both buried in Robertson County. You also list a Jesse as another sibling, but my father doesn't remember a Jesse. He does remember as a little boy his father (after Sarah's death) having to go to Robertson county to settle family matters, as Oscar had died of a heart attack, and a few days later, John committed suicide in the same exact spot where Oscar had died. They were two bachelors who lived together. Sarah married my Ggrandfather, Esiah Harbour Zead Orsborn (also spelled Osborn, also went by E.H. Osborn. Sarah (Mrs. E.H.) and Esiah are both buried in Old Bethel Cemetery in Natchitoches Parish, LA.
