|Do It Now|
I expect to pass through this world
Any good thing, therefore, that I can do
or any kindness that I can show
to any fellow human being
let me do it now.
Let me not defer nor neglect it,
for I shall not pass this way again.
– Stephen Grellet
1773–1855, Quaker missionary

I think we did speak. I did some research awhile ago, and found that the white interments at Girod St Cemetery had all been transferred to a different cemetery. That cemetery said that there was no record of Preston or family there. So ... I would have to guess that the family made private arrangements somewhere else. Maybe there would be a record of the transfer somewhere. Somewhere in New Orleans!

|Lisa Squared||Farrar tomb Metairie Lawn.|
The Farrar tomb at Metairie Lawn is gorgeous, but aside from the Farrar name on the transom, it is not engraved. The steps are grown over by low lying palms and secreted in those Palms is a stone monument marked as follows; In memoriam Mary Elizabeth Humphreys wife of Captain Isaac Davis Stamps Co E 21st Mississippi C S...(?). feb 13, ...(?) - May (?) the last line is obscured by underbrush.
|William Griffith||Verdico graves in Mt Carmel|
I believe that Antonio Verdico is my great grandfather. A picture of his gravestone was recently added by Mary Arvidson. She also added a photo of him. It is my understanding from her that the request to add these came from you. This suggests that we may be related. I can be reached by email at email@example.com and would like to compare some genealogy notes. Thank you.
|Alicia Wilson||RE: Thank you for your note on our relative in Osceola, MO|
I do not know for sure where she is yet. In my search I keep get sent to Colorado but haven't found anything for sure. It looks as though when Fleming passed away she moved around with her kids. I am still digging and will let you know once I find her. Thanks for adding her maiden name. Not sure if you want to link her 1st husband John L Hobbs ID# 44642257. They were married on October 8 1863 I believe until death. Together they had about 11 children I am trying to locate and link. Married Fleming January 31, 1909 per my research.
All yours. Please forward updates to name, birth date or death date, I have a spreadsheet on the cemetery

Collins Blackmarr died a few weeks ago, I don't know if you were aware. I saw it as a facebook friend of his.

Dear Farrar Family,
I have attempted twice with two different office staff members and they can not locate your family member Paul Travis Farrar Memorial # 65149817. Please review your burial information and/or contact Woodland Memorial Cemetery and resubmit your request if he found.

|kaeds||RE: Jerusha and William Farrar photo requests|
I read a note somewhere that the Williams Cemetery had been found and the headstones that were there were all broken, unreadable.
I know there was a man looking for it also as we talked several times about possible location. He never contacted me if he found it.

|Barbara Guyer||Beatrice Haggerty Farrar|
She was my grandmother's sister. She was married to George Farrar. I don't know what his middle name was - by the time I started the Haggerty family tree, my grandmother was already gone and she was the last one. My cousins weren't to sure about Beatrice - only the stories they heard from their loved ones.
