I am always happy to transfer a memorial to a family member closer in relationship than I am. Just let me know which ones, using the edit tab in the upper right and then under "suggest a correction" ask for the transfer of the memorial and include how you are related.
I have been doing genealogy for 45 years and have published family history books for my parents, my husband's parents, my daughter-in-law's family and my son-in-law's family. I am a retired librarian and have traveled with my husband as we volunteered to help build Habitat for Humanity homes all over the country. We have visited all of the cemeteries of known direct ancestors for all our families; I have loved adding them all to this wonderful website.
My genealogy is downloaded to the World Connect Projects link at Rootsweb.com. I have 7 gedcom databases, accessed by typing in the database name in the "jump to specific database" box or by searching by name and looking for my entry with one of the database names below:
gravleesellers, druinlewis, macyblair, barchliger, lewisadams, rudisilltrigg or fieldmasser.

Diane, I've started using Carboff Paper to make a "rubbing" of the stone. It does a very good job of bringing the engraving to life and does absolutely no harm to the stone. For an example go to memorial #76629797 where there is a photo of a rubbing and one of the stone without help. See what you think and let me know. I found this product while vacationing in Michigan. On Grand Island in Lake Superior to be exact. There was a lady there doing a whole old, old cemetery for Find a Grave and she was using the Carboff. It was introduced to her Genealogy Society by a Funeral Home Director. If you're interested I can tell you where I bought mine. Gerry | | | Peka

Would you happen to know if there was a marker ever placed in Brookside for him? I will check at the library to see if there was an entry for the 1977-79 surveys. If not listed there, he probably does not have a marker.Added by at on Apr 15, 2013 6:37 PM | | | deegraver
