I live just blocks from Greenwood Cemetery, Orlando, Orange County, FL. It's beautiful, and I'd be happy to take a photo if one is needed. I LOVE going to the cemetery!

I have been actively photographing and documenting the older sections of Greenwood. I am currently going through all their records to make sure we get everyone on findagrave.

I'll gladly transfer management of memorials upon request, no matter what your relation (unless they are my relatives - but I will transfer a relative to a direct descendant if I am not one). I create every memorial with the hope that their family will find them. Every transfer request I receive makes me know its worth it.

Please let me know if you find any errors or I've duplicated a memorial, I'll fix it! It's so important to have dates correct and names properly spelled - but we all make mistakes, and sometimes the markers are very difficult to read.

Feel free to use my photos (with credit to me - Merf works) for your personal genealogical project. My photos are of public places, and of no artistic (I can guarantee that!) merit. I don't believe I "own" a simple snapshot of someone else's grave marker. I volunteer here to SHARE and to make sure memorials are as accurate as possible.

My mother and I are researching our family who settled in Lee, Phillips and Monroe County, Arkansas.

In particular, we are desperately searching for parents and siblings of Thomas Trotter Bonner, who settled in Spring Creek, AR. He married Elizabeth Shackelford Bonner in 1834 in Marengo Co., AL.

Current projects:

Assisting my mom and the Annie H. Darracott UDC Chapter out of Lakeland, Polk Co, FL in the documentation of Confederate Veterans.

Completing FAG entries for Greenwood Cemetery using various sources including cemetery records and undertaker records. I'm only concentrating on the lettered, older sections.

Family surnames: Allen, Allred, Bonner, Coble, Estes, Gaines, Garrison, Gearhart, Gower, Hale, Harris, Higginbotham, McGee, Mauney/Mooney, Ottertail, Raymer, Redditt, Waldron, Walker, Whitfield

William A. Sipprell
Thank you for your thorough search for the above marker for William A. Sipprell (memorial #46744202)at the San Lorenzo Cem. in Saint Augustine, FL. I can't be sure it is the correct person but matched my info. fairly well though the years appear to be out by one year each. My info. says he was born Mar 07 1908, Alhambra, Los Angelos Co., CA & died Nov 23 1981, Saint Johns, FL. This man was vice-president of Lear Jet Corp., therefore I find it difficult to believe he would not have had a stone though there could be several reasons why it may not be there I am sure. Once again, thank you very much for your time & efforts.

Elizabeth is buried in Palm Cemetery, and there is a note that says her husband Walter preceded her in death. Do you know where he is buried. He is my Great Uncle. Have been looking for a death date for him. Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
Thank You, Anne Pritchett Haws

RE: Husband's grave photo
Here's what AJ said to do about the Famous photos:

The "add photo" link is there. Unlike the large button found on non-famous memorials, famous memorials have a small link found at the bottom of the right-side column. Upload away!

Senator Andrews' bio was just accepted. Send both of yours as he may accept both. I talked to AJ about the huge marker.

Been working on this for a while and I am excited about getting this done.

RE: Husband's grave photo
To get in touch with the guy who manages the Famous memorials, you email him at and he turns on the thingy so you can post a photo. I did realize you didn't know that. I have done it before. He has to look at to "accept" but yours are great. Would you do that when you get a chance?

I think Find A Grave wants only the person's grave photo and not other family members on the memorials. I always like to leave spaces for personal photos and documents and other stuff.IMHO
