|Do It Now|
I expect to pass through this world
Any good thing, therefore, that I can do
or any kindness that I can show
to any fellow human being
let me do it now.
Let me not defer nor neglect it,
for I shall not pass this way again.
– Stephen Grellet
1773–1855, Quaker missionary

|Emily Smith||RE: Margaret Bare in Bethel Cem|
Hi! The second photo was a little stone that said mother. There was one saying father on the other side of the stone as well. I just thought I would add them as well. If you would like me to remove it, I will be glad to do so.
Do you know where in Buzzard Cemetery Jessie Sill is located? I went over today and looked all around but could not find her. The book I use to locate headstones surveyed the cemetery prior to 2001 so she does not have a location listed.

|Chris||George & Bertha Farrar corrections|
Greetings. I submitted individual corrections for George & Bertha Farrar through the site links provided. I got an automated message today saying that they had been accepted. But there are typos/errors still on the pages. So I'm trying to contact the page owner this way to see if I have better luck.
George (#44956370): There's a typo in the bio section: George "was"... Also, please consider removing the "Corp" from the first name field. It prevents his name from coming up on a name search on the site.
Bertha (#44011605): Her first name is Bertha. Her middle name is Florence. The "E." is a reference to her maiden name, Eby. Would you please update her name fields so people can find her on the site? Thanks in advance.

after looking at it, i think it needs a new photo, anyway. Maybe one day when the monument isn't soaking wet.

|Connie Nisinger||Eliza Christy Farrrar|
Elizabeth "Eliza" Christy Farrar
Hi, connie. Pictured on her memorial is a tall monumnet. Can you please zoom in on that a bit in photo? Is that a monumnent for Christy family members? Can you please add a little note with that pic to describe if it is a family memorial? Thank you.
Just added a close-up shot of the base of the obelisk...the name on it is William T. Christy, so if you don't want it on Eliza's memorial page let me know and I'll remove it. That's why I didn't put it on her page in the first place...sorry!

|Joe Farrar||Son of Fred Farrar|
Hi my name is Joe Farrar. I am the son of Fred Farrar and the grandson of Mary Farrar. I was trying to find my dads old house we used to visit every year and could not find it. Does anyone know if it is still around or the Black house that was next to JB's house.
I have not been back to Standing Rock Alabama since I was 16. Is anyone still living in the area? I remember Avis's family moved to Texas and Dotts family was in Florida and JB's family was still in Alabama I think.
Everyone take care
|Linda Mayfield Lawrence||Wardie Carline Farrar Mayfield|
Hi, I see on Wardie's death certificate that her parents are Sallie and J B Farrar and that she was to be buried in Prairieview Cem but I cannot find any record of the burial. Do you know anything about her? She was the widow of John W Mayfield of Anson. I am a Mayfield and would like to know any info you might have regarding her. Thanks, Linda Lawrence firstname.lastname@example.org
|Rod ||RE: Embry ...Kin to you.|
Thank you, I think.
I am related to the Swearingens, Giffords, and Embrys through Maggie Swearingen (1859-1889) and her mother Mary Emby (1840-1911). My family are the Curds -- James Pryor, a first cousin several times removed, married Maggie Swearingen. The families are all quite prominent in Louisville, where I grew up.
What is the link between Mary Embry and William Wallace Embry?
