I will be going back to take a better photo of her husband. His marker has faded and the one I took doesn't come out even with enhancing the picture.

Oops! I meant Neal graves, not Mayes. I was searching for both that day. LOL!
I found a lot more Neals than were listed in the cemetery and added them. When I go back to do the Civil War pics I will keep an eye out for more Neals.

You're more than welcome!
I also do photos of Civil War graves. Because I only covered half of the cemetery before finding all the requests I had and was running out of time I will be back to finish those and also keep an eye out for any other Mayes graves that might be there.
As always, feel free to use my photos as you see fit.

I looked at mine for her ( She is a cousin ) and see that yours was first. With her having so many last names, I did not find her when I looked to make the memorial. I will delete mine. No need for two.

Thank you for your prompt reply. Have been researching since 1979 starting with the Wetherington and Barfield families from Hahira, GA. (my paternal grandparents). I research wherever the string between me and them takes me. I am not related by blood to the Blitches but through Susan Shuman.
Do you have any information on Hattie Bailey? I found William Hanford Blitch's Draft Registration with her name on it but not a relationship.
BUT: I found William H. with wife Lottie in the 1920 & 1930 Census, Statesboro, Bulloch, GA.
Wondering if you have more info on Hattie or Lottie? Thanks for your help - will gladly help you with whatever I have. Pamela

Please check your email when you get a chance. I just sent her obit and a link to the funeral home that had her arrangements. Hope this helps.

Thank you Ann for the heads up on Jose Castaneda duplication. I am deleting mine.
Have a terrific weekend.
I love to find exciting things about our elatives and other people too. It is so rewarding when you stumble across something you didn't know. Thanks for all your help. I still make a lot of mistakes but I am learning all the time. I started taking a few pictures also.
