My family lines are: FLAHERTY, PATTON, KEYS, ZIMMERMAN, PETERSON, THAYER, McLEESE, JONES and RILEY. |
I'm very willing to transfer memorials over to family members but ONLY DIRECT ancestors, ie Parent, Grandparent, Siblings. Also; ONLY with proof of direct ancestry. The remainder transfer request approvals or denials will be at my own discretion.
Please do not ask me to delete memorials of my own family members nor threaten me if I do not transfer a memorial over to you. Threatening me will get you nowhere. Or ask me to stop adding memorials for a certain state and/or town. I have every right like everyone else to add memorials for those locations. And I will continue to add those memorials. Or ask me to delete a COMPLETE memorial stating it's a duplicate, when in fact, it was added and completed before the alleged original.
If you find errors in one of my memorials send me a friendly message with proof of correct information. After I have gotten the information verified then and only then will I make the correction. There is no need to be rude and demanding.

|T W Zimmerman||RE: Zimmerman Family|
Thank you for your message. As far as I know, they are not related, as my great-great-grandfather came from Germany to the U.S. in 1857. He had one brother who also immigrated to the U.S. nine years later. However, he did have another brother who may (or may not) have also come to the U.S. As always, I am still looking into my Zimmerman family in Germany. Who knows - I may find more cousins who came to this country. (I wouldn't be surprised if I found them in Russia or South America, either.)
|Frances Allen Titsworth||Darlene Hall Shady Grove Cemetery|
Dobbs Cemetery is also called Shady Grove Cemetery. In the obit it says Shady Grove Cemetery north of Natural Dam. The Shady Grove that you have her husband in is located in Springdale, AR. I took the photo of her marker in 2009 at the location of Dobbs (Shady Grove). I have never been to the Shady Grove cemetery in Springdale.
|Mary Gavilan||Mem # 131183653 Martha "Pinkie" Lloyd Futch|
Martha "Pinkie" Lloyd, Pisgah Cemetery has incorrect information attached to her name. Somewhere, the name Futch got attributed to her when in fact the name Futch is actually our mother's maiden name. Pinkie's maiden name (as well as mine - we're sisters) is Carlton.
I am not sure just what type of information you need as proof and if you would let me know I will see if I can provide that for you. In the obituary it clearly states that she was the daughter of Marvin Henry (mispelled should be Hendry) Carlton and Mattie Futch.
Her complete full name would be Martha Caroline Carlton Langford Lloyd. Pinkie was a nickname. Would you please make this correction - leaving Pinkie would be fine since she was well known as Pinkie.
If you go back and read the obit you will see that she served on the board of trustees for the Pisgah cemetery for over 30 years.
Would it be possible to have this memorial transferred to me and then I could make the corrections. Thanks so much.
Thank You, Liz Gavilan
|Anna Herrera||#128513992 Margaret June Eddy Howell|
I want to thank you for the beautiful memorial page you created for my 2nd cousin Margaret June. You know more information about her than I do. I was fortunate to have met her once on a short visit to OK. She did give me information about her mom and her husband. I tried to get her to show me some of her old pictures and let me make copies for myself, but I only got about 2 pictures with a mention that she would look for more and make me copies. My husband and I did try to go back for another visit but we never did. I was so happy to hear that she finally sold her home where she and her family lived for many years. Thank you, Anna Herrera
No problem and thanks for deleting it. I know we all wish the search function worked properly!
|Ruth Wyatt||Inez Ethel Mowery|
Shanna, I am Mowery descendant. My father had aunt/cousin, Ethel Mowery, buried in Okmulgee Cemetery, who died 1920. My grandfather, Benjamin Franklin Mowery, had brother, Martin VanBuren Mowery. The Muskogee Times Democrat death article for Inez Ethel Mowery closely matches family, though her age would be about 27. The cemetery records have her listed as Amy Ethel Mowery. Martin bought the 8 spaces to bury Ethel in 1920, then his mother, Mary Jane Mowery in 1933. Wonder if you have any family connection, since you found and posted the article?
|Debbie Rose ||RE: Patricia Irvin|
She is not too far from Doris Zimmerman. Patricia is in Section T, Block 7, Lot 6, Grave 4. Patricia is in Section T, Block 13, Lot 9, Grave 4. So that puts them about six rows away from each other.
|Debbie Rose ||Patricia Irvin|
Shanna, there is no final gravestone yet for Patricia Irvin - just the temporary marker. I will keep checking.
|DiAnn||Ramona Henry Belford|
Thank you so very much for taking your time to fulfill my photo request for Ramona Belford at the Okmulgee Cemetery. I am pleased to have it posted on her memorial page. I do greatly appreciate you doing this, as I live so far away. Have a great summer!

Thanks so much for posting the photo for Iona Lallathin and creating the memorial for her husband, Elmer Lallathin. I had requested that photo over a year ago and had begun to think the request would never be filled. I have submitted edits using the edit tab for Elmer, including birth and death dates and links to his parents. Thanks again.
