#14552217 - Daniel N Williams
More detailed info on the above.

Daniel N Williams was the last person to be legally hung in Oregon outside of the penitentiary in Salem. The hanging took place in The Dalles, Oregon on July 25th, 1905. Williams had been convicted of the 1900 double murder of mother and daughter Louise, age 69 and Alma, age 31 Nesbitt at his homestead about 20 miles south of Hood River, Oregon. The murder was the result of a dispute regarding a homestead claim.
At one time Alma had been married to Williams. Williams had six wives; three who died under suspicious circumstances. Williams, a convicted felon from Nebraska was also suspected of murdering Jesse & Martha Tuman in Muscatine, Iowa in August 1902.
Williams was described as being about 5'9" tall, heavy set , 180-200 lbs with square shoulders and a large, full, oval face with big lips.

Would you please consider transferring my Aunt Ruby Leedy Whitaker to me? She is my grandmothers sister, married to my grandfathers brother so she is a blood relation.
