Hi Cathy. My name is Barry Harding, Reading, Pa. My ancestors are from the Lancaster/Berks county area of Pa.
I am looking for information on Jacob Hartung, 5-25-1808/9-2-1850. He was listed as born in Tenn. and died in Lancaster county, Pa.
Findagrave # 60137257. His father was John (Johannes) Hartung, 1-25-1775/12-7-1850, buried in same cemetery.
I was wondering if you might be related to either of these, or have any information about them.
You can also contact me via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. I have traced my ancestors back to Hessen, Germany to 1587. Thanks.

I came across your name while researching the location of collateral family graves. I have wondered so often about your parents location now. We had such fun, special times together! It seems impossible it was many years ago now. I am so sorry to learn of your sweet mother's death. John has also passed away--in May of 1997. He had one of the cancers that is without symptoms until it's too late. His grave isn't very far from your brother's. I was shocked to discover Johnny's when I walked to John's from a different angle one day. John's is close to a tree, a few sites east from the praying hands. I bought a double headstone at the time, with my name on one side, too. Never-ever dreamed that I would re-marry! You may see Kathryn Seelmeyer with this message. Stephen and I got married in 2009, 15 months after we both attended one of our high school reunion planning meetings. I now live in far South Texas, the Rio Grande Valley, in McAllen. It's sub-tropical, hot & humid but very beautiful. Also the fastest growing area in Texas right now! Stephen is a History teacher with an alternative High School here.
I hope this reaches you--I'd like very much to hear from you! Please greet your dad for me and feel free to share my message with him. I will send you my contact information if I hear back from you. Love, Kathryn
