Bio

I live in central Maine and
my family has lived in Maine
for generations. I do this
for myself and for others.
I try to do some research for
many of the memorials I add
and also for the memorials
I add pictures to. I feel
that if I do this, it may
help someone else. When I
add a memorial I try to add
all the correct information
into the correct fields. The
dates and places are also
important when searching for
a memorial. If at all possible,
this information should be
listed in the fields asking
for birth and death dates, etc.
This site is for helping others
be able to view graves of loved
ones and/or ancestors when they
might not have any way of seeing
them on their own because of
distance or other reason. Every-
one should help each other and
not resist changes to their
memorials just because they want
it to look a certain way. There
are some who just paste an obituary
or article into the bio and
leave most of the other fields
blank. The reason for the other
fields is to make it easier for
searching. I spend a lot of time
photographing every grave in a
cemetery so I want to add all the
correct information that I can
so if someone is looking for
a grave they will be able to
find it easier. Yes, it takes
more time but not that much.
This isn't a race to put on as
many memorials as you can or to
be the first to create one from
obituaries you find in a news-
paper or on-line. I will transfer
memorials without giving the third
degree. If I am not related or if
the person asking is a closer
relative than me then I don't
see any reason not to transfer.
I would like to know if there
is a connection with the deceased
because I don't want to transfer
to someone who just "collectors"
memorials. (I know there are
some out there.) It really
shouldn't be such a big deal but
to some, it is....

This site does not
belong to the contributors, it
"belongs" to the dead.

I didn't mean to ramble on. Please
don't view me as a lunatic!!! LOL
