RE: Helen Murphy Hollenbaugh
Row, You asked the following:

"I received your edit for the above individual, suggesting a change in her maiden name from Murphy to Myers. Not opposed to accepting, just want validation before I do. What is your source?"

My sources are Helen's obit and the obit for her stepfather Foster Murphy

Her obit cites her siblings as

two brothers, Roscoe Myers of Adams County and Robert Myers of Perry County, two sisters, Mary Jane Narehood (and husband Jim) of Blain and Patricia Mumper (and husband Jim) of Perry County. Also numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

Helen and these four siblings cited above are all children of Roscoe Myers and Betty Swartz.

Her obit also cites her mother as Betty Swartz Myers Murphy. This a typical way to identify a woman with multiple marriages

The obit for Foster Murphy confirms this as it refers to Helen Hollenbaugh as a stepdaughter

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Donaldson Murphy; two sons, Stanley A. and Roger L. of Carlisle; four stepsons, Dale I. Rowles of Vidor, Texas, Gary L. Rowles of Cross Keys, Roscoe Myers of Aspers and Robert Myers of Elliotsburg; five stepdaughters, Barbara Murphy of Cross Keys, Connie Corcoran of Parsons, W.Va., Patricia Mumper and Mary Nearhood of Blain and Helen Hollenbaugh of Carlisle; a brother, William T. of Carlisle; three sisters, Wilma H. Baum of Carlisle, Janet E. Howell of Camp Hill and Shirley R. Rice of Helena, Mont.; 22 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

James Chambers
Hello Row Walker,
In researching the Chambers family I believe the mother of James #118945534, died in childbirth. I noticed on his memorial page that someone questioned James' birth and Rebecca's death being the same year.
Thanks for all your contributions to your fellow genealogists.

RE: Hoping this reaches you
Just found your question about Abraham Mumper. I actually have portraits of both he and Mary (Molly) Lerew Mumper. I actually made a mistake and added one too many Greats, he is my 3 times Great Grandfather. A couple of his children are not listed on Find-a-Grave. Jemima who married a Majors and my GGGrandmother Rebecca b. 1825. She is buried in Maryland and had four children.

Thank you again!
I'd like to thank you again for visiting and leaving flowers at my Grammie's Memorial, Thelma Lorraine Hamilton Stilwell (Find A Grave Memorial# 52443745).

It was very thoughtful of you and I really appreciate it.

I live in Northern Ireland now, and I can't afford to go back home to California and leave flowers at her grave myself. The last time I was able to visit her grave was 6 years ago.

You have me in tears with your kindness. Thank you again, Tamytha Hopkins

Elmer Mumper
Thank you for the SAC for Elmer Mumper #122364169. I believe he is the same man listed on memorial #41005692. If so that memorials is incorrect as I have found several sources (including cemetery records for his actual burial) showing him living in Minneapolis after the date you show him as being buried in WV. If you would like to compare notes please send me another SAC with a way to contact you directly rather than on your message board.
Thank you

RE: Hello. Anne
Thank you, kind sir. Since Findagrave has clamped down on source reliability, I am triply (is that a word?) careful these days. Doing well, just sick, and what else is there to do but grave when one is living off chicken soup?

Bless you and your work and kindnesses.

RE: Might he be
Joseph A Farrington (Father Joe as we call him) was my husbands great uncle (Paternal Grandfathers younger brother). I have pictures if you like. Are you of relation?
