A native Nashvillian (TN), I've been into genealogy since my dad asked me to get his family on a computer in 1987. A lot has changed since then, but finding and recording family members remains a fascination (aka addiction).|
Thanks to all of you who are helping to preserve the memory of our ancestors.
Important Find A Grave Guideline
How do I enter all married names for a woman's memorial when she was married more than once?
The 'last name' is the name that is on the headstone. Include other married names as part of the biography section. The 'maiden name' is only for her maiden name. (i.e. Put only ONE name in the "maiden name" area and only ONE name in the "last name" area.)
Ignoring this guideline makes your memorials hard to find, is an undue burden on the wonderful people fulfilling photo requests and proliferates duplicates due to the difficulty identifying them prior to entering new memorials.

You are very welcome I'm
glad to help.

#107471753 Memorial. You have listed as a child of Elizabeth, Johnnie Ella Nunley Hackett. This is not correct. I have searched my database and can not determine the parents of Johnnie yet.
Elizabeth had two children, one who either died in infancy or was stillborn and Clarice Robena Cothron. She is buried in Dixon Springs Cemetery under the name of Clarice Coles (1908-1983).
Clarice was first married to Donald Alexander Beasley who is buried in Crestview in Gallatin, TN. Their only child was William Gabriel Beasley (1926-2011) who is also buried in Crestview.
Only full sibling of Elizabeth Jane is William Branch Nunley (1866-1900) buried in the Wm Martin Cemetery in Trousdale Co., TN.
If you would like half siblings of Elizabeth, please let me know.
Thank you so much, Brenda Beasley Branham
Please email me privately, would love to learn your connections to Beasley family.

Glad to help. I have made several typos myself and appreciate the ones who have corrected me as I want all to be as correct as possible. If any one sees that I have made a mistake, please don't hesitate to contact me.

I have a memorial for him and someone emailed me asking how I know his middle name. I really don't recall where I found that and was wondering if by chance you had sent this to me as an edit.
I'm glad I've been able to help you find relatives through my Find A Grave contributions.

When I went to get the photo of your request, I found next to his the following: William Douglas Kendall and Doris Irene Kendall. In case you should want those also.
Blessings, Judy in OK

Thank you for the kind words. I am getting so many requests for changes and a few that tells me I am adding the wrong information that I decided I would add the source. I have had a few who really get ugly and I have to remind myself I am trying to help others as someone helped me. Thanks for all you do on Find A Grave as well.
