Bio and Links
Bio Photo A retiree from the federal government and researching my genealogy I discovered "Find A Grave" and am now trying to assist others find their family members. Truly rewarding to help others!

Please contact me if one of my memorials is your family, I will gladly transfer as family belongs together.

Also, contact me to correct my mistakes or to provide additional information. I accept all edits submitted via Find A Grave edit tools - but do not do additional research on your submissions, as you have already researched - I trust your research.

I also post memorials found with birth year 1931 or before that have no death date - this follows FaG guidelines - and I'm sure someone may be looking for that family member.

Iíve started to walk cemeteries and snap photos as I walk. When adding a memorial, I only link family members when I have information from the stone or obituary; otherwise I rely on others to update memorials.

I am her third great-grandson. I was wondering if you had any photos of her. Another one of my relatives might but I am not sure yet. Thank you for this Memorial.

RE: Mary Sasse - 137548990
Thanks for the (unsolicited) transfer of Mary Sasse. I took the photo from hers and copied it into her parents and gave you credit, both in the bio and in the photo comment. Thanks again.

I feel bad every time I work with this family. My aunt told me about she thought that we were related to Ralph Sasse, nephew of this Mary Sasse whom you transferred. I did some checking, quite thoroughly (I thought) and I could find no connection and told her that she was wrong (which was tough since she was fairly confident). She died about a year later. A bit over a year ago I was able to spend some time in Wilmington, DE and found obits and city directory information that made the connections and I felt so bad. However, I could not find these records remotely and didn't know that a "lost 2g aunt" had not died but actually married just before the 1870 census to someone and their daughter married a Sasse.

Thanks for all your work.

Al

Lewis F Wattson 137576573
Hi Lois, Finding the Death Certificate for James S Wattson allowed me to link him and his father (buried together in Riverview Cem Wilmington DE) to his mother in Riverview Huntingdon. Strongly, I believe his father, Lewis F Wattson, is the 1st Lieutenant from the 125th PA Infantry, and I'd like to summarize my research as his Bio. If you could find it in your very kind and generous heart please transfer ownership of Lewis F Wattson to me for this purpose. With warmest regards, Don C

Dorothy Rocheleau (1921-2016) memorial
Hi, Lois. I don't know if you've yet seen the two edit messages I sent you about Dorothy M. Szymanski Rocheleau (1921-2016) actually being buried in All Saints Cem. in Harbeson, rather than in immediately adjacent St. George's Chapel Cem. Please check for the two edit messages (not the type of edits that get submitted via the edits tab) I sent you the other night, as it'll explain about the situation, plus includes the Parsell's Funeral Home memoriam tribute link for Mrs. Rocheleau, that specifies her burial would be in All Saints Cem. The cemetery in question is the one that her linked husband, Robert F. Rocheleau, is memorialized in. So if you'll look at his linked memorial, that'll show you which cemetery location to adjust Mrs. Rocheleau to. Thanks for already having approved all the edits-tab submitted edits pertaining to Mrs. Rocheleau; it's much appreciated. By the way, I'm in no way related to Dorothy, so have no need or desire to have her memorial transferred to me, just happened to have cause to be working on her memorial otherwise. Best regards, Dave
