My interest in genealogy began ten years ago when I started my Family Trees. Most of my relatives are from PA and OH. My research led me to join ROAGK in IA, where I volunteered to help others in their search for information. Since my retirement, I am now dedicating my time to entering information into "FAG". Hopefully some of the information and gravestone pictures will help others in their searches. If you note errors in my entries, please let me know by email and include "FAG" in the subject line. I hope my contributions add to the value of this important site.|
Find a Grave has implemented a new way to submit Edits! Unfortunately, there are far too many members for Find a Grave to notify everyone via email, so it's up to us to get the word out. If every member posts this message (or similar) in their profile, hopefully we can help spread the word.
To suggest a correction (SAC) click on the edit tab of the memorial that needs to be corrected. Then click on the link which best describes where your edit should occur. Enter your correction, when you're done, click submit edit. Your request will be sent to the manager of the memorial and will appear in the managers' profile under the Edits tab.
Managers will no longer receive emails. They must go directly to their profile page and click on the Edits tab. Managers can approve, deny or ignore, suggested corrections. It's quick and easy!
Requesting a transfer other corrections are still handled the same way. Click on "suggest any other correction or addition," type your message and press "send this message." The manager of the memorial will receive an email.

Hey Nancy, It's me, Kathy Wells again. I was wondering if these Bakers I've been working on are by chance related to you? I'm asking because I noted that Wilton Golson originally set up the memorial on Myrtle, and her parents memorials, but this one has been transferred to you to maintain. I'm actually curious about Myrtle's parents, Jacob Baker & wife Margaret's memorials. Jacob and Margaret both show according to Wilton Golson to be buried in Walnut Grove Cemetery, although I noted he did not have any pictures of the gravestones. But, in the book titled "A history of the family of Nathan Baker" it shows Jacob and Margaret to be buried on their family farm. The farm was referred to in the book as the 'Old William Taylor Farm'. That cemetery is now called the 'Taylor Private Cemetery'. So I wondered if you might know if someone/anyone had found that Jacob and Margaret were not buried on the farm as stated in the book, but actually are in the Walnut Grove Cemetery as Wilton Golson listed it? Your opinion would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know. Thanks so much.
Nancy, thank you so much for those transfers. I know I and many many others appreciate all your hard work in setting up so many memorials.
Hi Nancy, I sent you on Feb. 5th 2 Additions I am hoping you will go ahead and add. One is for this #26410323 on Florida Wagner Park, and the other is for #32080691 on Priscilla Ellen Baker Wagner. Or, if you prefer I would love to have you transfer them to me as I may have more information to add later to these. I am Kathy Wells contributor #48538885. Neat! I should be able to find his rank via. familysearch. I think I will try that next! Thank you!
He is buried in Riverview Cemetery, Huntingdon. It looks like you've already processed the edit.
