I am a native of Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania. My primary interest is the history and genealogy of Huntingdon County, and in particular any of the Park/s families that were in Franklin County and Huntingdon County when they were formed. My roots are in neighboring Franklin County (at this time). I do research at a number of historical societies in central Pennsylvania and am a member of the Huntingdon County Historical Society. I also assist a major surname genealogy organization in some of their work. Please abide by Find A Grave rules regarding use of photographs, including duplication of pictures already in place for a memorial. Ron ~ Thanks so very much, once again, for taking such wonderful photos for my family at Riverview! My Grand Aunt Clara (Handwork) and her husband Clare Taylor's memorial stone pictures look just like I'm standing there myself...you do a really good job! Thank you! Janet Handwork in Texas

Ron...I was about to turn off my computer & saw Aunt Mandy's headstone photo you took! Thanks, so much! For the past few years I have been in touch with her daughter, Barbara Kendig Handwork Thompson, who just moved to Heaven earlier this year at age 96! My sister & I finally got to meet her on a trip we made to NC & FL. This means a lot to me that you are doing this for our family! I will let her son Tim know about it! Blessings to you! Ron ~ I checked: Samuel B Taylor and his Wife Jane Hannah "Jennie S" Taylor's headstones have been photographed and Memorials made. Yes, you are correct, they are the Parents of Clare M Taylor Mem# 133717258 that I just made for him. Thank you in advance for posting the photos for Clare M & Clara Kendig Handwork Taylor! How wonderful that these six of my relatives are buried so close together! So very much appreciated!!! From some Internet photos I've seen, Riverview is a very beautiful cemetery...maybe one day my Sister and I will visit there! Janet in Texas.

Ron ~ Thank you for your permission to use (and credit) the headstone photo of Dr Andrew Jackson Williams Handwork MD on my Handwork Family Tree. I am a bit curious as to his U.S. Army service during WWII not being noted; he was a Major...I'm guessing the family did not request a military stone? I have the "Record of Burial Place of Veteran", but no stone request. Yes, I would be most appreciative of your taking a picture of his Wife's headstone as well. I will quickly make a Memorial Page for the Doctor's Sister, Clara Kendig Handwork Taylor, who is buried there. (I don't know if her husband, Clare M Taylor is there or not. Died 31 Dec 1937. His Death Cert. just states buried 4 Jan 1938 in Huntingdon. Harry Brown & Son Funeral Home.) I will request a photo for Clara through Edit on her page, just in case you come across her headstone and have time. Thank you for thinking of the doctor's wife, Floriene! Your efforts are VERY much appreciated! Janet Handwork in Texas

Samuel & Ellen Kelley
Thank you Ron for taking the photo of this gravesite. I am trying to prove that they are my ggg grandparents. I requested the burial records from Riverview Cemetery to hopefully find a clue, but they could not find any record. Mr. Wheeler Borough Manager said that he walked the old part of the cemetery and could not find these markers. He telephoned the Huntingdon Historical Society, as to where you got the information, but they were of no help. Are you certain it was Riverview Cemetery, run by the Borough? Can you suggest any other method of my proving that these are MY Samuel and Ellen Kelley? Are there any other graves in the same plot? I'm in Florida and can't travel to PA to check this out myself. Any advice or assistance would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Bob Allen
