I am very interested in history and family genealogy research. I have been able to find a lot of family through this website. I hope I can be a help for others. GOD is good!!!|

Hello! Glad to hear from you as always and thank you for the updates. I've updated the memorials. :)

Sharon, please read the notes attached to the requests for Peter & Elizabeth Willems. These requests were designated to be claimed by me only as I have been working long & hard to locate the burial places of her relatives & then to photograph their gravesites. Would you please release your claims to Peter & Elizabeth Willems so that I may claim them as Kim wanted?

Thank you for your note, Sharon! It doesn't happen very often but it is disappointing when I'm unable to fulfill a photo request, such as yours.
I hope the information, I submitted will be of some help, and at least give you an idea of the burial site. There is a beautiful grove of Redwood and Oak trees nearby the grave site, as well as other grave sites that are also unmarked.
Let me know if I can be of further assistance and thanks for being a fellow volunteer, too!
Hey cuz, thanks for the update! Very interesting stuff :) Hey, are you on Facebook by chance? There is a great group there that I think you would like and I'm sure you'd fit right it. The group started from people on the Ancestry.com but this group are all very positive and supportive of each other but also very funny. The group started as a place to write letters to your ancestors asking for help. The first to do it was Jane Brusca, she writes the funniest letters. So the group, started by two other ladies but Jane is a big part of it as well, is called "Jane's Gang". Should give it a shot. :)

I found a little bit of news outlining what happened to him. In the middle of all this history drama we had quite a shaking. (my first good 'ol Southern California earthquake)
I may take a trip this weekend to Merced County and visit Curt's grave.
I am deeply saddened - I truly believed we would meet again someday and play a little music and celebrate surviving our youth!(I was a wild one back in the day too)
Guess that gives me more time to practice Follow Your Rainbows, Mountain Man and all the other songs we used to play circa 85-86.
Thank you for your kind response.

Curt was a friend from way back in my younger wilder years and I stumbled onto this awful news tonight but cannot find anything about the circumstances of his death.
Would it be a huge imposition to ask you to call me? I have questions . . many questions!
Curt was the kinda cat you get used to missing but never forget . . this is SO sad!

Great picture. Thank You! Sharp detail, good light. Appreciate the effort of all who take their time and resources for these projects.
God bless you,

Huisjen--I think our friend Carl Huisjen had a grandmother named Cornelia also. Carl is probably in his late 50s/early 60s. You must be some kind of cousin to him then. Cornelia was married twice then, with 2 different last names?

Thank you, Sharon. This family represents another where both our families come together again. Glad to share it and others, as I find them.
