I was born in Weimar, TX but have lived my entire life in Rosenberg, TX. I became interested in my family history after listening to my Mensik grandparents telling me their life stories. Years later, after their deaths, I began my research and was intrigued how the stories I had heard began to come to life the more research I did.

I am a direct descendent of the Vacek family from the Holman, TX area and the Mensik family from the Ammansville, TX area.

I also had several ancestors on the Vacek and Mensik side who married into the other family, thus giving me double relationships with many of my kin.

Feel free to offer additions or corrections to any of the memorials I have created. I will gladly transfer management of a memorial to family members upon their request.
