I live in Northwest Iowa and love researching family history. I welcome corrections/additions to memorials that I have posted. And thank you to those willing to transfer memorials to me, even if website rules don't require it.|
FAG provides us with a wonderful opportunity to celebrate a person's life. Recording and then sharing memorials means these individuals will never be forgotten.
My intent is to honor the life of each individual and to link them with family members whenever possible. I will be happy to honor transfer requests unless I am also related to them. GrammyJan has the right idea.
Should we add obituaries? As a person who is searching for ancestors, I am very much in favor of adding as much info to memorials as possible, while at the same time I don't want to be insensitive to living family members. I believe that when the family submits information into a public forum like a newspaper or funeral home website, they want that information to be public. They want a record of their loved one's life. Isn't that what FAG is all about? GrammyJan has the right idea.

Hi Kris, i am a Vermont Civil War buff, and at present am working on a project to identify the last resting places of many "Old Soldiers" that had Vermont ties.In going through Iowa burials I have seen a few Find-A-Grave memorial pages of which you have contributed a photo to. I am asking if I may use these photo's to post on the Vermont Civil War site? ( www.vermontcivilwar.org). You would receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration.

Changes made.Obit included. Thanx
Forgot to say thanks alot for checking!!!!!!!
Hi, very odd the cemetery says no Beights are there. The IA Tombstone project said his wife is there. He died a few years later. They should at least show a record of his wife, Mary Beights.
Do you have a phone number for them so I can call about his wife Mary. Moses died 4 years later. Very odd Moses didn't end up there, too. If it was a double stone, maybe his name was never added. I find this to be the case every once in awhile.

Thank you for all your time searching for a grave stone for Albert Morrical. I really appreciate it!

Thank you for searching for the Peterson's, and disappointing they have no markers. I was not able to contact anyone with cemetery records to get a location for them to help pinpoint where they are. Thank you again for your time, it's much appreciated.
