I started taking photos of my family graves in Manteo Cemetery, and sort of dropped the ball. I got the bug again a couple of years ago. It bothers me that so many people have no marker other than that provided by the Funeral Home. With modern methods, those are becoming shorter-lived than wooden crosses. If we don't document the graves of those whose families can't afford a marker, or shamefully turn their backs on their dead when they can well afford one, we will lose that part of their families to generations who WILL care about them.|

My great grandfather was born in 1888. See census for 1900 and 1910. His brother Warren R Midgett was born in 1887. Found this information after talking to my mother Minnie Farrow. My great grandfather mis-stated his age to get into the US Military.

I'm always glad to help.
It's possible that the middle initial is M., and could be a transcript error. If you haven't already, I would suggest contacting the cemetery office. Please let me know if you would like a transfer.

thanks for pointing that out. i had taken photos of all the tombstones in the cemetery and then loaded them one by one and i did not catch that they were the same person. thanks again
You will be happy to know I have finished the Pearsall cemetery. I had over 700 photos left, I went through adding to memorials and creating memorials for those that didn't have them. I hope you find everyone you are looking for as I was pretty thorough and dont think I missed anyone but its possible. Have fun!
Ok you got 3 more, staying busy. Goodness I realized I still havent finished Pearsall cemetery so you still probably have more family there I havent posted. Im close to Odessa still, My husbands family is from here starting back in the 1800s born and died so Im busy with that. Hopefully I can finish Pearsall soon, I still have the pics. Take care
You are now the proud owner of 10 (I Think LOL) New memorials. Im happy you had pictures to add and the memorials was wanted by someone. There was a couple I still havent found headstone pictures for but Im still looking.
Ok, I looked and I have added 25 Adams's and a few Adcocks so far. A couple of the Adams I added was names from a list, I havent found their graves yet but Im not done with that cemetery yet. So when ever you figure out which ones you want send me a SAC through the edit tab (that would be easiest if there is a lot of them) Thanks
Thank you for adding the personal pics to the Adams in the Pearsall cemetery. I have also added their headstone pics. Are you related to them, Ill be happy to transfer to you. Just let me know
