I am a single mom of a 19 year old son, whom i adore.I love history and genealogy. I miscarried by daughter, whom my son is her twin ,Jan 11,1996 and i lost my dad,April 25,2002. The surnames i am working on are Chowning,Wall,Decamp,Stout,Knoll,Geesaman.I love to look up old abandoned ,lonely cemeteries and help them have flowers too.If you ever have trouble looking up dates for someone ,id love to help.Email anytime.
Are you interested in writing a bio for Vivian and telling the story of the dollhouse memorial? Since it is listed on findagrave's main page under 'Interesting Monuments' it seems to be getting a lot of flower tributes.
It would be nice to have the story about how many people have been caretakers over the years and how it was renovated and landscaped by complete strangers.
If you don't have the time to write anything and hyperlink to her ancestors- perhaps you could transfer it (unless she is a relative you don't want to part with).
Prayers Please keep my family in your prayers following the loss of my uncle Franklin Rogers, who passed away yesterday from cancer. If you have time I would appreciate virtual flowers for his Find A Grave memorial 128627148. I am very blessed to have my friends on this site. Thank you,
RE: Yaryan Dianna, Thank you so much for that great story about Glenn! It appears there is a mistake in the way the cemetery is listed on Find A Grave. "Oaklawn Cemetery Gardens" has only 5 entries, whereas "Oaklawn Memorial Gardens" has 6,589 entries, so I would think it must be that "Oaklawn Cemetery Gardens" should not have been created on Find A Grave as a separate cemetery. In any case, Glenn has entries under both cemetery names, and there should not be any such duplications. Let me know what you think should be done to correct this. Thanks again, Carl
RE: Aunt Opal Oh My, Dianna. I am so sorry that she had such a rough time and know you are. My husband's mother use to SAY, "There are worse things than death". How true. Yes, she has no pain now for sure.
Thank you so much for letting me know. I so appreciate it.
RE: Terry Mclish No, I didn't but would like to get more info on your family. You can email me at email@example.com and I will send you what I have on your family. I have been researching the McClish family for 50 years now and have a lot of history and am always looking for more as it is neverending.
