We have been doing genealogy since 1980, mainly our families, getting to know our past; and finding our cousins which we have found many and enjoying the new friendships... We RV travel the east coast and enjoy taking photo requests at cemeteries near campgrounds we visit.|

|Jacqueline Baker||RE: family ties|
Anna would have been my first cousin 3 times removed. Her father-Elijah Warren was a brother to my Willis. They shared common parents of Hiel and Nancy. Willis was my great great grandfather. Hiel's father was Elijah and mother was Sarah Willis. I am trying to prove that Elijah was youngest of Christopher and Elizabeth Balis-Bayless. Lots of family histories showing this but nothing with concrete documentation to support it. Am considering hiring a professional genealogist to try and find some solid conclusive evidence. lol
Is this Cemetery open for anyone view

Thanks for what you are doing at this cemetery. I will go through my listings here and look for more info from the memorial stones. Thanks!

Hi Patti, I went ahead & deleted mine since it was incorrect. I should know better than to blindly trust written records from so long ago!:) I added his death certificate to your memorial with a note that the burial listed on it is incorrect. I connected him to his father and made a memorial for his mother (#144010113) but it won't allow me to add her to Mack's until the previously submitted edit is accepted. I noticed you have quite a few memorials from this family's lines - are these your ancestors/collateral lines?
I cannot THANK YOU enough for all of the pictures you have added to the memorials. Your time & effort is so greatly appreciated!
Thank you, Gen

Thank you so much for the informed nation you posted on my great grandfather's grave. I have been searching for his military records for 5 yrs and was finally going to give up and fill out gov forms to get it. You saved me much time and aggravation. Thanks a million!!!!

|Edward Mathewson||Mathewson, Ryniker, Faughnan, research|
my name is Ed Mathewson and i play with genealogy.
In my fathers papers i found a hand written obits. from Richard Mathewson, 970 Hoffnan St. Elmira. dod. Apr 11, 1949.
I did a search on find a grave and found Harry, from Elmira and your name.
The obits. list grand children - Mrs Frank Rynicker of Elmira. I met Frank and Madiline a few times, at my parents home, when i was young. She was always with my aunt Margaret Faughnan, and My Father Richard.
In the obits it also mentions Bernice Barnes, my fathers sister. Richard, My father,and Margaret Dion, my fathers sister.
i have quite a bit of family info to share. Let me know if we have a connection.
Your Distant Cousin

You did a great job of entry and photo on so many stones at this cemetery!
Since you have done the Stineys there is one stone you missed--Ransom M Stiney Jr, located near the other Stineys near the corner of the cemetery nearest to the intersected road. It's a large black marble stone with a beautiful color etching.
Just thought you might like to get this one the next time you are in the area!
