I've been doing family research for many years now and have been really enjoying it. FAG has been a wonderful tool. My main line of research has focused on John L. and Hester Ann Smith from Lee County TX. By connecting my direct lineage to them, I have proudly become a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas.|
If you happen to find any errors on the memorials I have created or maintain, please let me know.
I will gladly transfer memorials to any family members that are more closely related than I am.
I also maintain memorials for some that I am not related to. If you wish a transfer to you, I'd be more than happy to do that. I'd rather memorials be in the care of a descendant/relative or a beloved friend than be maintained by a stranger who knows nothing more than they lived and they died.
Please feel free to use any headstone photos I have taken. I am happy to share them. If you use a photo of someone, I'd like to know, just to make sure it's going to the right place. Otherwise, feel free to use them.

You are welcome. This is my first time to do this. I am glad it turned out ok. It was raining pretty hard when I did the pictures, but I was determined to do them. I actually live in Utah, but was visiting in Texas.

Thank you ever so kindly for taking a picture of my great grandfathers' grave outside of Tanglewood, Texas. It is of great importance to pass down the history and heritage of our family.

Find A Grave Memorial# 46655853:
Have posted the info you kindly sent, could you give me the state and county for the 1910 Census, it would help other researchers identify the family. Also, I'm not related to the family, so if you want to manage the memorial, I'd be happy to transfer to your care.

Hi Vickie, I assume you are looking for the Cemetery in Bastrop County, rather than Travis County?
If you go to the Find A Grave cemetery you are looking for, at the search page, look up to the top of that page and you will see a Info button, Map Button and a +Add to my Cemeteries Button. Click on the Map Button and it will show you a map of the area. If you are coming from south Austin come out Hwy to Bastrop and follow map. If you are coming from north Austin come out 290 to Elgin and follow map. Good luck.
