Families that I'm researching include Lapham, Wixson, Hillyard-Hyliard, Jesseph, Rappleye, Van Nuys, Cantrell, Gennrich-Genrich, Wilk-Wilkie-Wilczewski, Hoff, and Filipowicz-Phillips. And my wife's family Sawyer, Mumm, Limb, Curry, Barkuloo, Schmidt, and Green. |
Currently working Peoria County cemeteries. Photographed: Prospect, Chillicothe, Streitmatter, Saint Joseph Mooney Cemetery, and am now working the historic Springdale Cemetery. Have 100% photograhed Division A, The Willows, Forrest Lawn, Woodland Heights, Chapel View, Mt. Sinai, Mt. Hope, Washington Heights, and Resurrection Division grave markers in Springdale.
If you make edit suggestions, I do investigate every suggestion before accepting. I do not accept suggestions, where the only source is an ancestry tree. Documentation is required.
A few things I've learned...
Death certificates are good for date and location of death (other info on death certificate is advisory).
Birth certificate is the best source for date of birth, location, and parents.
Info from headstones is also advisory too. Headstones are sometimes put in place decades later by descendants and errors are made.
I will transfer ownership of a memorial to you if they fall within the Find A Grave guidelines, unless they are part of my own genealogical research.
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
I will also admit that I'm reluctant to transfer ownership where an obit is included and all of the links have already been made.
Many of the transfers that I've made, just sit there, no embellishments.

Hi Steve, may I please have a transfer to me for the memorial for Eleanor E. Ragon 134246877? I would like to own to add photos and manage with my other Ragon family. Thank you. Jackie

Not sure where the maiden name of Grant came from. I have had other suggested corrections over the years.
|LisaS2000||RE: Henrietta F. Lewis|
I would appreciate any information that you have on Henrietta Lewis. She has been one of my more difficult ascendants to trace.
Gertrude has also been difficult.
I am descendant from Cora, the Henrietta's third child, William's (Henrietta's husband) second child.
Thank you. What is the best way to email you directly, in the event that you have additional information?

I did post the obituary. Thanks.

Re: middle name for Clifton
Can you supply some documentation for your suggested middle name for Clifton 140867119?
I got his middle name from his brother, Addison. Clifton got his middle name from his grandfather, Ezra Nelson Abernathy, born March 11, 1863.

I'm putting pictures on Swan Lake Cemetery tonight - it's going pretty well - Robert J. Webb (1907 - 2005) is buried with an "E. Marie" who was born in 1910 and died 1991. Can you find out about her and put her in so that I can add the picture? Thank You for Everything You Do!

|Baxter B. Fite III||Wolgamott/Noble feud|
Stephen, Thanks for the information about Jonathan Wolgamott and Ed Noble. I have added what you sent me to Jonathan Wolgamott's site as well as another article I found in a Cairo, Illinois newspaper. Let me know if you learn anything more. I wonder if anyone was tried for Ed Noble's murder? His mortal remains were laid a few miles away from Jonathan's at Maple Ridge. Thanks, Baxter
