Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi, I enjoy doing research on my extended family, something I inherited from both sides of the family. Their work has given me a headstart. Families that I'm researching include Lapham, Wixson, Hillyard-Hyliard, Jesseph, Rappleye, Van Nuys, Ellison, Cantrell, Gennrich-Genrich, Wilk-Wilkie-Wilczewski, Hoff, and Filipowicz-Phillips. And my wife's family Sawyer, Mumm, Limb, Curry, Barkuloo, Schmidt, and Green.
If I can be of any assistance, please ask. I would also like to thank those in the Find A Grave community for the huge role that you play - THANKS!

A few things I've learned...
Death certificates are good for date and location of death (other info on death certificate is advisory).
Birth certificate is the best source for date of birth, location, and parents.
Info from headstones is also advisory too. Headstones are sometimes put in place decades later by descendants and errors are made.

Well, I Tried
I tried to send the file to you. Check your email. I have no hope whatsoever that it got to you. It's death records for Peoria County from 1877 - 1915, hand produced by John Melton.

Thanks again. I can check the picture using close up and see if I can get the death year, plus I can call Springdale. I have an excel database of death records for Peoria County, gifted to me by a fellow Find A Graver. Happy New Year!

The source is the "Fornoff Family" which is held by the Church of Latter day Saints, pg 27. I can email a copy of the pertinent section if you wish to see it.

Merry Christmas, Pat

RE: Edwards, Illinois
Thank You! I will have to try the Peoria Library card method. Ome of my friends told me about it once. I'll figure something out. I'm just amazed that someone I did is known for something. I just thought he had a very unusual name. Thank You again for all your help!
