All edits to memorials can be done through the EDIT on the memorial page. If I don't get to your edit in a weeks time, please leave a message in my message below. This will e-mail me so I can take a look. Thanks!
I currently live in Byron, Illinois, but grew up in Stillman Valley. I also retype out anyone's lists they have put together, and they do not have a desire to post it on Find a Grave.
If you find a Memorial I have created, and they're your family. Let me know! I am more than happy to transfer. The only exception to this is with Brooklyn cemetery. I am the Vice-President of this cemetery, and we are still researching people here and connecting them. If you want a high resolution picture, also let me know.
I retain the rights to all photos I take, and no one may repost the photos without my permission. I give my permission to family members who would like to use the photograph in their family tree to do so. I simply ask that I am credited for taking the photo.
I will transfer immediate family members to those that ask. I will not transfer anyone from Brooklyn due to myself being on the board and we are using this to keep track of people and the info we find out on them as we restore it.

Thanks for the transfers, I really appreciate them.

Thank you Ben!
I am new to Find A Grave so thank you for the guidance. I am specifically looking for the headstone of my 3rd great grandfather Elihu/Elihue Corkins. His engraving may be on the right side of the headstone for John and Diantha Lake at Kishwaukee. I only wonder, if this is the case, because his wife Sarah Calkins has her information engraved on the left side of this headstone. I will send an official request though and wait for the thaw :)

Thank you so very much for the transfer of my great grandfather's memorial (Henry Lake). I appreciate this so much!
On a side note, do you work on photo requests? I have another family member that I believe is also buried at Kishwaukee Cemetery. It is a mystery that you may be able to help me solve :)

I have recently been tracing my family genealogy and am writing to request a memorial transfer for Bessie Berger Lake 29771013...she is my great grandmother. I am so happy to see that Kishwaukee Cemetery has been represented on Find A Grave. It is such a lovely little place :)
Thank You Very Much,
I was wondering if you could transfer the following memorials to me as they are my relatives:
Elizabeth Bain #62868032 & her husband Lyle S. Bain #62868033

I'm researching the Eddy's. I've run into a confusion factor. Horace Eddy, #31403553 was married to Jane M. Woodward, born 1834. I didn't have a death date but there are two possible spouses here. #31403552 Jane M. Eddy wife of Frank Hagmire. Then #31404129, Jane M. Eddy Maguire. Both of them have the same death date of 10 Feb 1881. The Jane I have did remarry a Frank William Maguire in 1871. I'm thinking the correct Jane would be #31404129 but her maiden name should be Woodward and then linked to Horace Eddy. If I'm correct and you agree, then probably #31403552 should be deleted. Once this can be confirmed then I can link Jane and Horace's children. Thank you.

The tombstone reads 1935, not 1955. Thanks for your contributions!

Wondering if you would transfer the following to me? They are my 4th great grandparents.

Ellen Meyers Davis (1802 - 1906)

|Traci's Mom||Token you left for Traci Fields|
Thank you very much for the token you left for my angel daughter Traci. She was a wonderful gift from GOD, and she's in my heart and mind every single day. Her passing has left major holes in the hearts of her family and friends.
I appreciate you helping to reach my goal of 5,000 tokens by her birthday, November 20th. Actually, thanks to you and other findagravers, so far today Traci has received 6,026 flowers/tokens. That makes my family and I extremely happy. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I'm thankful and blessed for your kindness. GOD bless you for your heavenly heart.
I am so overwhelmed with all the findagrave friends requesting flowers/tokens for my Traci. Thank you ever so much!
This is something I wrote for Traci:
It was a cold, quiet night at the cemetery. The snow was falling gently to the ground. The only sound that could be heard was the whistling of the wind. Off in the distance I suddenly heard the tiny sound of jingling bells. I looked around and wondered where the life was in the stillness of this cemetery.
As I gazed around, I saw a ray of moonbeam shining down on a small Christmas tree.
I thought to myself, "This is where the life is in the cemetery!"
Ring the bells this holiday season in memory of those you love.
Sharon (Traci's mom)
