Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching some of the 36,000 + Army Air Forces personnel who died in the line of duty, of non-combat causes during the World War II era in service-related accidents. It is said that more
than 15,500 Army airmen were killed in airplane accidents between 1941 and 1946, within the borders of the U.S. and it's territories. They gave their all and died in the service of their country, but received no purple hearts and virtually no mention in the history books and have largely been forgotten by time.

For corrections, additions, or requests for transfer of memorial, please use the Edit tab, and select Suggest a Correction or Provide Additional Information to make any update requests. It is much easier to handle the issue this way, rather than a personal message.

I am happy to update any memorial, including family links. But I DO NOT like adding census information, copies of death certificates and please do not add long obituaries to the "photo" area. The information can be condensed and pasted into the bio area. If you don't have the time to type out the obituary, just email it to me. I will add it and give you credit for finding it.
I appreciate any information that can "round out" someone's bio.

RE: James P Kiser
Since the listing is a duplicate, I will ask Find A Grave to merge them. Thanks for spotting that. It will take a few days probably.

1943 Air Corps Accidents
I created memorials for two servicemen who died on 29 October 1943. Their plane was lost at sea during a Naval reconnaisance flight in the San Francisco area. Gerrel Prouty 93902227 and Leonard Ashworth 93922590.

RE: Thomas Cook
Through census I think I have figured out the Thomas Cook line. More research needed, but I am close! Kayla Snyder

Thomas Cook
I am trying to find the parents of Adele Laura Cook. She married a great Uncle & I have been trying to find her parents. Some of her census information states that they were both born in Ireland. The only Cook I can find in the Campo Seco Catholic Cemetery that was born in Ireland is: Thomas Cook b. 1835 d. 1905. Do you have any research on Thomas & who he married & was Adele L Cook one of his children? Adele was born in California 13 May 1892 & died on 29 Nov 1951. She married in 1928 - Robert Axel Anderson. He died in '49, she died just a few years later. Robert is buried in the Tracy Public Cemetery in Tracy, CA.

Thank you for your service & I appreciate any info you may have.
