Thank you for the photos of the stones for James E Brooks and his wife Ruth Goulette-Brooks. They are the parents of my Uncle Jim (James E. Brooks II).

Thank you for the picture of the tombstone for Charles Goulette. This is my Uncle Jim's maternal grandfather. I appreciate the work that you do since I am in Texas!!

Ralph - I just discovered a major mistake in last message. Please disregard it!!! Bruce Beattie died in 1982. I am searching for his burial place, the name of his wife, her birth and death dates, etc. Any information will be appreciated!!!
P.S. I am researching 160 names of captains who lived in MC at one time, and I have done too much for today. Thus, I make errors!!!

Ralph - I am researching captains who lived in Marine City for the historical museum. I am having trouble locating information regarding Captain Bruce V. Beattie. I cannot locate him on findagrave, but I found Lewis Beattie who died in the same year - 1944 - Bruce Beattie. Are they one and the same person? Also, who was the wife of Bruce Beattie? What are her dates of birth and death? I do have an obituary for Captain Bruce and information from the Bowling Green State University website. Any information you can provide will be appreciated. Thank you.
Yes, I am related to all the Balfour's in the Marine City/St. Clair area. My father was Kenneth Balfour, son of Russell and Laura, of St. Clair and my mother was Mary Jane David of Marine City.
Dear Ralph Beattie,
is it possible to get the permission to use your photos on my personal familytree ?
Have a nice day !
