Bio Photo Here I am. Doing what I love doing. Cleaning lichen from the headstones in the cemetery, so the inscriptions can be read.
2011 I started a Family Tree...What a wonderful thing to go backwards in time and find relations I never knew and will never know!! I found quite a few of my ancestors by researching cemetery data bases online. Some info but no photos of headstones, hence the reason for me listing on Find A Grave.
Maybe after I have gone, my descendants will know my past...
I hope the information I have entered on Find A Grave will help others to locate their ancestors.
If it does, I would welcome an email from you...
And, if I have made any errors, let me know and I will correct them a.s.a.p. XX

Cant find area for photo. Paul ORREN
Glennise - Hi, Re Paul ORREN buried in the Kelvin Grove Cemetery, Palmerston North. There is not enough burial information given for me to locate the area. No CREM Blk 2 in the cemetery: Other options: CREM BERMS. U-2a or U-1a or Q-3a or M-2a. If you find more information or the direction to Paul ORREN's plot I will return to the cemetery and photo at another visit. Thanks

Re: Pauline & Jacqueline Bickley
Hi Glennise,
I was so happy to find where Pauline and Jacqueline are resting. Thank you so much for inserting their headstone photo and location. Pauline was my dear friend at high school and she is often in my thoughts. Now at last I can visit her grave. Her middle name is May, and Jacqueline's middle name is Monique. It was so tragic how they died; hit by a drunk driver while coming home from a dance class. They were in Pauline's mini and Pauline died at the scene. Jacqueline died of her injuries a couple of weeks later. It was a heartbreaking time. Pauline's father started C.A.R.T. (campaign against the road toll) and had the smashed up mini on a trailer taking it around the country to try and campaign against drunk drivers. Both Pauline and Jacqueline were beautiful, clever, talented young women and a devastating loss to their family. Thank you again for your contribution to help me find them.
Kind regards, Monique Vlaar.

RE: Percival Anthony & Matilda EDWARDS
Thanks Glennise. Was hoping to find the date they were buried. I seem to recall that Franklin Council were merged back into Auckland Council so might try them.

Have a great night

RE: Percival Anthony & Matilda EDWARDS
Thanks Glennise :-)

Do you know where I might find the cemetery database for Drury Cemetery? Doesn;t appear to be with the Auckland records or am I going blind.

Cheers
Tracy

Hi Glennise

I'm hoping you'll please transfer the memorials for Percical & Matilda EDWARDS at Drury Presbyterian Cemetery to me as they're my 1st cousins 3x removed?

Was so pleased to find their memorial and headstone as I've been searching for them for ages.

Cheers

RE: Vercoe graves at Omaka cemetery
Hi, had a look on Ancestry.com.au under "Ancestry NZ Cemetery Records": page 2965 Vercoe Ann (Mrs Philip) age 87, buried 30 Jan 1917, OC Front of Barnes Encl.
page 2966 Vercoe Philip age 91, buried 30 Sep 1916, OC Front of Barnes Encl.
these are scanned in pages that are not online yet I guess. Don't know where the "Barnes Enclosure" is, may be a part of the cemetery near No. 1 cemetery, may be named after a well known family?
Regards, Sue

Vercoe graves at Omaka cemetery
Hi, sorry I don't know which block the Vercoes are in. We were there in November 2012 passing through and walked through looking for family names. No the online records aren't showing the Vercoes. However, if possible starting at the Sopers block 12 and walking through to the Blicks and Aroa's might help.
Regards Sue
