|Tracy Bryant||Hartery, Doody|
My name is Tracy Bryant. Alice Maude Doody's great granddaughter. I have been doing our family tree. I saw the immagration paperwork of my Great Great Gandfather Fredrick Hartey and Annie Hartery come from Canada Newfoundland, with my Great Grandmother Alice Maude Doody, her three children (Catherine, Frederick and Mary Doody) then there was Rita McLauglin. I am wondering who she is and if there is a relation. I saw your posts regarding her. I am assuming Hollenbach was her married name.. but Oliver and Marie Hartery raised your Dad.... but he was referred to as a step son. I was wondering if you could help me figure this out. Maybe we are actually related?
I would love to speak with you.
|Matthew Hoh||Taves Family|
The Taves family members that I added are extended family to me. Their step-father, Morris Oppenheim, was my great-great-uncle and Morris' daughter from his 2nd marriage gave me the information. Are you a relation to them? I know my cousin was trying to get in touch with them.

I'm very glad to hear from someone interested in this family. My great grandfather, William Frederick Friberg was said to be the illegitimate child of Rika Taves. If you visit my member page, follow the link to my home page, then "Family Events", then Friberg, you will see many obits linking the Taves, Rhode, Fahrmann and Friberg families. My research in this area has hit a stone wall and I would be happy to discuss it with you. Please use the email on my member page.
Thank You for posting my Father Reuben V. Arnold's headstone photo. It is much better then the one I have from a few summer's a go when visiting the headstone. In the event you have any additional photos of him please let me know as I only have a old new paper clipping from him as a little boy.

Your baby is so precious.
You tried to fulfill my request for a photo of Richard D. Reimert at Arlington Cem, Whitehall and you said the office had no record. I want to keep the request open because his obit says he was buried there and maybe someone else, someday, will find it.
Burial will immediately follow services in Arlington Memorial Park, Whitehall, Pa.

Good for you !!!! So glad you are doing better. It really is fun going to the cemeteries or at least it was for me. I've been to over 75 of them in PA, NJ, and OH just looking for family. I don't travel anymore as I'm getting older and have to go by myself, plus gas is so high too. The babies grow up so fast. I have two great grandsons, ages 4 and 6. They are just full of life and energy.
Again, thank you for your help. Don't be surprised if I have more requests.

the burial location has been corrected and thanks. I get possibly one in a 1000 burial plot locations. The only place I have a better chance is the national cemeteries and their I've been making a special effort of putting the plot locations. You don't have to feel like an airhead for mistakes, I make them all the time but now I have an excuse. I tell everybody I am now a Certified Senior Citizen as of May 16 of this year.
Have a good day

Thank you for the plot information.
