If you write PLEASE indentify yourself with findagrave. We usually DELETE anything from people that we don't know.
We will gladly add or delete anything that you desire. Our memorials are meant to HONOR the person who passed away, and to leave a record of that person's life, so that those who follow can access the information.
We encourage you to use the "virtual cemetery". You do not need to OWN a memorial to use it.
We transfer according to the findagrave guidelines, but please ask. There are exceptions.
THANK YOU to all the good people who work so hard to make this an exciting and usable site.

|Family Historian||RE: Richard Davis|
The alleged marriage was actually a commitment ceremony, conducted without a marriage license. A legal marriage would have deprived one of them of a pension. "Partner" would be a more accurate term for this relationship.
Regarding the other memorial, I added some information to that one. I chose not to add the obituary, because it is inaccurate, and the photograph looks nothing like my father. I have many more photos that actually look like him. I live within a few miles of the cemetery, and hope to photograph the gravestone and add it in the near future.

Thought you might like to know that there is a duplicate for the memorial that you created for Elinor A Compson: Created by: Cathy Taylor;
Record added: Jun 03, 2012;
Find A Grave Memorial# 91281223.
She has the burial location and a picture of the headstone. Maybe she would be willing to merge her info with yours.
I have some family information to add, but will wait until the duplicates are sorted.

Could you please remove one of the two pictures that you put up from my uncle's obituary...they are identical. I think his daughter is wanting to post one of her own when she gets the chance. I was just going to post one of him when I saw the ones you put on...just got back from his funeral today. His facebook number is 151352347. Thanks.

Thanks for the obit. We missed it. My FIL currently resides in Green Acres so we've been there often the past several years.

We depend on on another to help keep things straight but we all have our days or nights, whatever. : ) I may have missed it but for the closeness of the grave of the grampa.
Keep up your great work. More positives will come out of this than negatives after we are long gone.
Your friend, Michigan mother

You seem to be doing a fine job, so there's no need for any rush on my part to take over anything. If/when I do opt to accept your offer I'll be in touch. Besides, I need to doubly verify that this particular Carol Elaine is indeed the person who I think she is. At present, the birth year, along the first and middle name, and the associations with Michgan all coincide. However, I'd like to see if I can find a few more points of verification before I proceed any further. On a hopeful note, they do seem to have had offspring which would mean that I would still have living relative on the Lehnhardt side of the family. Up until this year this side of the family tree was a complete mystery to me, so on behalf of the Lehnhart/Malmberg half of the family tree, thank you for all of your work.
Karl F. Malmberg
