Bio and Links
Bio Photo A group of us had formed a nonprofit foundation to assist the City of Cleveland in restoration of Woodland Cemetery. I will look up names and take photographs of the headstones/graves for those buried in Woodland Cemetery. If you plan on visiting the cemetery, I will also be glad to meet you there to show you the graves of who you are looking for. In some cases the graves may be unmarked. Check out our website to search our database of burials and ongoing events and projects at If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Clara A. Barker
Thanks for the tombstone picture for Clara A. Barker wife of George Henry Barker who is buried with his other wife Etta Mae Turner Barker in Fairview Cemetery in Dansville, Ingham, Michigan USA.
I was wondering if anyone knew what Clara's middle and maiden names were?

Esther Burke
You said, "I found a newspaper article with a mention of her death which says she drowned in Providence. Where is Providence? She was not married." RI maybe? Do you have a link to the article? I could check it out, too.

Thanks so much for the help! I have been working on photographing all of that section, and when I came to the Burke monument I was in trouble! LOL Thanks to your info, I have been doing more online research tonight and filling in the blanks. For instance, it appears Willie Hanson is Barzilla and Prudence's grandson. I found his parents in another state.

I wonder if you could help solve the mystery of this family? There was a veteran's flag at the grave site so I bet you can. You have *secret knowledge.* LOL

RE: Bishop Jesse
Michelle, I've deleted the pages and now have room for photos. I appreciate any you care to add for his memorial as well as the rest of his family. Thanks very much.

RE: Bishop Jesse
Michelle, thanks for letting me know you have photos of his grave marker. I don't have time today, but I'll transcribe the information off the pages I've uploaded as photos and add it to his biography, then delete the pages so you'll have room. Thanks for doing this. Jesse Bishop was a first cousin of my third-great-grandfather James Putnam Babcock.

Wow. Thanks for the information. One of your people told me workers had also put sod over some flat stones. I had a hell of a time tracking down one I particularly wanted to photograph (due to the story behind the deaths). I eventually narrowed it down and realized it was totally covered with grass. I dug it out the best I could. Find A Grave Memorial# 67209309
