*********************************************** Please review Find A Grave's transfer policy: "Transferring of management should only be requested If you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. With hundreds of thousands of contributors, we have many overlapping family trees and it would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree.
Second, Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren."
PLEASE BE PATIENT IF YOU ASK FOR A LARGE NUMBER OF MEMORIALS TO BE TRANSFERRED - I DO HAVE A LIFE. *************************************************
We live in central North Carolina. My late husband is from Barren County, KY, so a lot of the genealogy that we worked on is from that area.
Our main surnames in NC are McDade, Foreman, Weaver and Lashley. In KY Kerley, Branstetter, Jenkins, Simmons, Chism and Howard.
We have taken digital photos of tombstones in our area which are then posted on Cemetery Census. | |

 | Photo of Robert and Mary Christmas's headstone Hi, Mrs. Manuel. Robert L. and Mary P. Christmas were my great-grandparents. I've seen the headstone; however, it's been some years. Thank you for posting the photo.

 | RE: RE: Claude Johnson Yes, I can understand your frustration. I find a lot of photos on ancestry.com that people have used in their tree without asking permission. And that gets on my nerves a little. It doesn't bother me so bad if it isn't my family but it still would be nice if they at least wrote down where they got the photo from!!! But to take a photo and write the wrong cemetery on it and repost it on the page you stole it from? That takes the cake!!!Added by chcobe on May 17, 2013 6:31 PM | | | chcobe
 | RE: Claude Johnson I'm so sorry to hear about your health. My thoughts and prayers are sent. My leg still swells a lot and my pinched nerves are still with me, I'm sorry to say. Thank you for correcting the links. I wrote on her profile page about the photo since my message I sent didn't seem to work. I will give it awhile and then contact Find A Grave. I just can't believe someone would do that and post it back on the same memorial page they stole it from. You take care of yourself and keep in touch.Added by chcobe on May 17, 2013 2:50 PM | | | Roberta F. Bobbi Jenkins
