Bio and Links
Bio Photo OK..so I've been doing Find-a-Grave for a while now and have decided to change my bio a bit.

Here are my thoughts on this stuff.

Relax..enjoy what you're doing otherwise you should stop before you get too far into it. No man is an island and this certainly can't be done alone. Rather than complain about someone's work...help them with it.

TRANSFERS: I transfer on a case by case decision. If for any reason, you can't maintain the memorials I've transferred to you, I'll be more than happy to take it back...please don't ask for a transfer of group surnames.

PICTURES: If I've taken a picture or attached a document ... please help yourself...no need to give me credit. I don't need to toot my horn or have it tooted. I've added them to the memorials for everyone to use. If you want to attach a picture to my memorials that are better than mine...please do so. I welcome them, but keep in mind I might use them in Ancestry.com if they're in my family tree. MY ONLY REQUEST IS THAT MY PICTURES AREN'T LIFTED AND PLACED ONTO A DUPLICATE MEMORIAL OR MEMORIAL LISTED AS UNKNOWN....thanks again in advance.

EDITS: If there are errors in any of the memorials that I've entered please let me know. I'll be glad to correct them as well as make any changes necessary. PLEASE USE THE EDIT BUTTON.

FLOWERS: PLEASE PLEASE don't use the flower section as a place to add a bio for the memorial...that isn't where it belongs. If I happen to come across one on a memorial that I've created, I will ask you to remove it. I'll gladly add it to the bio...just send me an EDIT. If it isn't deleted in a timely amount of time I will ask edit@findagrave.com to remove it.

DUPLICATES: Duplicates happen...it's impossible not to happen. We've all created duplicates. I will gladly delete mine. Please keep in mind that some duplicate memorials are actually cenotaphs.

It's hard for me to understand that these memorials belong to any one person....I believe they belong to "all" of us.

A sincere THANK YOU to all the Find a grave volunteers for all the hard work, help and dedication that you've given me.

Horace F. Holton
Horace F. Holton died at Lancaster December 9th aged 76 years, 3 months, 4 days. Born in and always a resident of Lancaster Mr. Holton had been a potent factor in the very marked progress of the town. His education was obtained in the First School District there at the Academy under the tutorship of such men as Nathaniel Wilson, W. P. Flanders, W. H. Hadley, E. F. Adams and others of the early preceptors. When young he was a Whig in politics but became a follower of Garrison, Pillsbury and Phillips. He was a staunch prohibitionist and an anti-tobacconist. >A New Hampshire History, Vol. XVI, 1894, p67.

Thanks for the link to her obituary. In order not to violate copyright, I've copied some info from that newspaper to her memorial page instead of copying her obit. Thanks again.

Fortin family - St. Peter's Cemetery, Lewiston Maine
Ms. Russell I wish to thank you for all your work in memorializing some of my mom's "people" interred in St. Peter's Cemetery in Lewiston, Maine. I was blessed as a child to know many of these GOOD folks. Several years ago my brother and I visited the resting places of our family accompanied by our mother. To say it was an emotional day is an understatement!

Thank you again for your dedication!
