Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been climbing around
on my Family Tree, swinging
on it's branches, and digging
at it's roots for over
30 years, (since 1975).
I have been widowed since 1991, retired in 2005.
I LOVE Find-A-Grave. It is a wonderful
asset to the genealogy world.
If I've created a record that someone
needs to correct, update or add
information, please let me know and
I'll be glad to add your information
for you;... or if the person is your
direct family member, and you would
like to have me transfer "ownership"
of that memorial page to you, please
let me know...If that person is not
related to me and they are directly
related to you; I will be glad to
transfer their memorial to you.
However, I want to note:
Nearly all of the memorials that I
have created are connected to my
family tree and are a result of a
lot of years hard work and research.

To all the members who have been
kind enough to transfer "ownership"
of my family members to me....
Find A Grave is one of my favorite
It has given me a place that I can
remember my loved ones and honor
their memory.

If you have time, please leave a flower
for my dear husband, Roy E. Hughes.

I am way behind in answering request.

David Perritt & Sarah Bryant
Hi LoRetta,

Do you have any sources to confirm that David Lewis Perritt's wife Sarah was a Bryant? I have seen sources saying she was a Smith.

Source 1: Their daughter Anna Perritt Lane on Find-A-Grave
Source 2: W. W. Seller's book "A History of Marion County, South Carolina", page 183

I usually don't ask anyone who sends edits if are related when they have entered as many memorials as you have, but you keep sending edits, so I have to ask now, lol. Are you related top any of these people? If so, please let me know who and I will gladly transfer.

Dexter and Malina (Blunt) Curry
Miss LoRetta,
Some time has past since the last time I requested the transfers of Dexter and Malinda (Blunt) Curry my 2nd Great Grandparents. I have taken and uploaded photos for you in the Mt. Zion Cemetery but could not find but only one. I have added flowers and such and have been the perfect gentleman. I am respectfully requesting again that I can maintain their memorials.
Thank You
Michael Curry

William L. Skaggs
Hi Loretta - are you connected to the Skaggs family? I can transfer their memorials to you if you wish. In any case, thank you for the additional information.

Best wishes,
Paul Hoyt

RE: Rhyne requests
Good morning: I went to Lutheran Chapel and searched the entire cemetery. I found no Myra Rhyne. There are many unmarked plots around various Rhyne sections. I found several Sarah Rhynes, but only one with a birth year of 1845. This was Sarah Ann Rhyne. She died in 1894. I did not post the picture because your year of death was quite different. I do have it if you think it is relevant.

Rhyne requests
Hi - You have requested photos for Sarah Rhyne and Myra Rhyne at Lutheran Chapel in Gastonia. Can you give me a little background before I head over there? Are you certain they are buried there? Has anyone ever looked for the graves before? Do you know if there is a stone to find? I love going and looking but I've been to a lot of cemeteries this hot summer with no stones there. Just like to see what is known before I go out to make my time fruitful. Thanks so much.

Margaret Spradlin Taylor
Fanny's mother and father were Obediah Spradlin and Martha Jane Avery. Margaret Creel Spradlin and James G. were Obediah's parents. He died in Wilson Co. TN. before they moved to Indiana. Margaret Francis Taylor was my great grandmother. I would like to be the caretaker of her site if you don't mind. Thank you. Carol
