David Bowers Find A Grave Memorial# 83844333
No doubt you are busy. There is a long genealogy for David Bowers. If you're related, I'd like to share information regarding the ancestry of David,
if not related can you connect me to the person who posted the genealogical info to the Memorial?

Morgan Hale
Hi, I have the grave of Morgan Hale in East Cleveland Cemetery. I believe this is his grave, as the data is correct. Would you like me to transfer the memorial to you?

Perhaps you can merge the two. Thanks, Karen

Clarissa Weller
The Ashtabula County Genealogical Society lists her death as 3 Jun 1875 and says she was 81 years old at the time. See:

RE: Clarissa Crary Weller
I went back and looked at the Crary Book*. It says that Clarissa Crary died 25 Dec 1875 in Trumbull County, Ohio and was buried in Rock Creek, Ashtabula County, OH. I conclude, of course, that the 1825 death date was a typo on my part from an e-mail message McDougle sent me in 1999.

There is still a question about the 25 Dec 1875 date (Crary Book) vs the 3 Jun 1875 date (found on the internet). I would tend to go with the Crary Book myself.

*The full and correct title of the Crary Book is “Carry Family Records – 2004 Update". It was put together by Carolyn Flint Crary and Robert McDougle and privately published in 2004.

RE: Clarissa Crary Weller
I got my info from a mutual cousin, Robert McDougle, many years ago. Since you raised the issue, I have done a search on the internet and found someone else who claims 3 June 1875 as the date and Morgan Township, Butler County, Ohio as the place. Is that what you have? See:

RE: Transfer Request - Rood's
Hello again Skye,

I understand you have invested a significant effort and time in documenting Oakdale Cemetery.

I was in Jefferson Township in August but wasn't sufficiently prepared for Oakdale Cemetery as I hadn't done enuf Rood research before the visit (I did visit Ray's Corners Cemetery). I have done a significant amount of work on my Rood line over the last week, however, which is why I requested the transfers.

I'm wondering if you would reconsider transferring the 3 that are my direct ancestors, my 4th Great Grandparents Ann & Isaac Rood and his father (my 5th Great Grandfather) Roger Rood. I've done and am continuing to find significant historical documentation on them and would like to synthesize it in their Find A Grave bio's.

I'm doing this type of bio for each member of my ancestry. If you look at my "Virtual Cemeteries" you will see examples of what I've done.

Yours is the first decline I've recd to a transfer request but you are undoubtedly the largest contributor of memorials I've encountered over the 4 years I've been on my family history journey. It would mean a lot to me to continue my work with my Rood ancestors.

If you have a change of heart at some point, I would love to receive these 3 memorials from you so I can honor their lives, contributions, and achievements.
