Jonathan and Elizabeth Jones
I tried sending this in an e-mail and it keeps coming back at me.
I think I have found out who Jonathan and Elizabeth were. Trying to find a family tree with dates. The Mary Jones Wilcut that is buried at Bolt was their daughter. Elizabeth was a Thompson according to the Ill. death index for Mary. Finding a 1880 census Shelby Co. that shows Jonathan and Elizabeth both age 50 with daughter Mary age 9. Leads to a marriage record for a James Jones and Mary Elizabeth Thomas out of Morgan County in 1859. Only one tree has Kitty Wilcut Hinton's mother Mary Jones with Jonathan and Elizabeth. They have Elizabeth's death year as 1888 and nothing for Jonathan. Hope this helps a bit.

I changed my mind. The picture I posted was completely illegible. As I continued trying to read some of the old stones, I came across one that looks like Dav... Sam... with no last name but clearly has J.R. for initials where the parents would be listed. I am posting that one instead. The other small stones by the Garberson family memorial simply say mother and father. This broken stone is in the same area of the cemetery.

I added a note as a caption on one of the photos that I can't be completely sure it is his stone, because it is illegible. But I didn't find any other stone that could be his.

Notes in the cemetery books indicate that this person was buried in the mausoleum, but, was later relocated to the current location.

Do you of an Isaiah (or similar given name) Jones born about 1818 in Franklin Co., IN and died 7-4-1895 in Bourbon County, KS? I've tried everything and can't find him! I'm grasping at straws!
