I live in Illinois and love genealogy and find a grave. I like to try and fulfill any requests for fag and am willing to help anyone who needs it.|
I am willing to transfer any sites I do to family members. I am not into how many photos I can post with the information like it is some kind of race to do the most. I just want to do the best job I can and I am always open for suggestions on my errors when asked.
This is a great site for people looking for genealogy family and for loved ones.

I spent three years with my friend shooting Oak Hill, I have the most of the pictures here at home, sometimes, I have to go out there. You are very welcome for the pictures.

I'm not sure. I just went by what the obit says, but that could be wrong too. Just leave it up and see what happens. The newspaper may have put the wrong cemetery. You may want to request at the other cemetery too. She already has a memorial made there too. If we get back down that way we will try to find her :) take care, Connie

Hi , I just saw your request for Agnes (got an email) and I read the obituary you added and it says she is in Oak Hill in palmyra , not Oak Grove in Modesto. They are very close to each other but 2 different cemeteries. Take care , Connie

Thanks for Arthur Peck's obit. I'm not related but my late wife Sandra was. (Find A Grave memorial 81872485). She was also related to the Brooks and Hockadays.
Kindest Regards, Dennis Peterson

I agree with you Janet. I have been contributing bios for eight years now so I have a pretty good idea what they look for in famous. I hear your frustration. You are not the first member that felt your memorial was famous-worthy. Everyone looks and interprets things differently. I have had numerous memorials that I thought were famous also rejected. It's all up to the "powers that be" who run the site.

I believe you are referring to your memorial of Adolph Mueller # 41580763. I would have been more than happy to try and submit your memorial for famous approval, however in my opinion Mr. Mueller was not known beyond his local community. I know how the administrators of the site think and strongly feel they have rejected the memorial for famous due to not being better widely known. I am sorry to disappoint you. The memorial your created is still a nice honor to him.

I wanted to thank you so much for posting Miriam Elvira Powell.
Please don't think I was in any way disapproving of the practice of chalking old stones. Sometimes, it's the only way to make out any of the details of the inscriptions. I only asked about the picture of Miriam's stone to see if her death day was decipherable. I was hoping at least that much would be readily apparent since you'd been able to post the month and year (call me greedy, I love info!).
Bless you for putting her up and linking her to her mother and siblings.
Because of the kindness of generous researchers like you, Miriam Rowland-Powell has been reconnected/reunited with nine of her twelve children.
With great appreciation,
