Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've questioned the need to put a Bio on FindAGrave. To me the site has been an invaluable resource for genealogical research. I have never seen the need to personalize it about me because the site is all about not forgetting others. We get enough of the me, me, me sites on Facebook and the like. The only reason I even initially set up an account here years ago was to have rights to leave flowers and notes at the cyber gravesites when personal travel was not practical. But today, I'll leave a Bio. I'm a woman who, for reasons very clear to me, has a passion for doing what she can to make sure people are not forgotten when they die. The written word is the best way I know how to do that because the letters and the pages can speak on our behalves when we are no longer able to speak for ourselves. What is written about us survives us as long as the memories of the living hold out and as long as this world retains the records beyond that. I hope when I'm gone from this world, someone will spend as much time making sure I'm not forgotten too. And this seems an appropriate Bio and explanation of me on FindAGrave.

RE: thank you - Emma Hughes
Floraandwill - You are most welcome, it is the main purpose of Find A Grave to locate friends and relatives for others.

I noted you had one of my memorials in your virtual "cemetery", Emma Hughes. I added another photo and also searched our state records for more information. Hope the added information helps, let us know if I can do anything further. Stephen
