Bio and Links
Bio Photo I enjoy helping others out. As well as working on my family history. If I can help in my area let me know. I will try to help get your photo and or obituary, if possible.

However, after going out of my way to get pictures and the such, I would appreciate it if Marcia would stop trolling the findagrave site and nit picking at my and "other" contributors work, effort and help. We are all adults, or so should be.

I am human and do make mistakes, just like the rest of us. (Whether some want to admit it or not is still out for debate. LOL)

If you find a problem, please be kind when asking for corrections to be made. Most would agree that a polite contact is the best kind of contact.

In the event you find memorials that need to be linked. Please provide proof that it is husband and wife buried together. I've gotten wrong information. What a headache that was. So please provide proof. Thanks!!

Currently I am inputting information from cemetery books. I am not trying to have a bunch of memorials under my number WHO CARES???
What I care for is to list the forgotten, for those that are searching for loved ones. Not knowing where in the "county" they are resting. Since inputting the cemetery book info. I have had several people contact me because I had solved mysteries where their relatives are buried at.

Found this wonderful writing by: Thelma Greene Reagan.

THE RECORDING OF A CEMETERY LEAF
BY THELMA GREENE REAGAN
Today we walked where others walked
On a lonely, windswept hill;
Today we talked where other cried
For Loved Ones whose lives are stilled.
Today our hearts were touched
By graves of tiny babies;
Snatched from the arms of loving kin,
In the heartbreak of the ages.
Today we saw where the grandparents lay
In the last sleep of their time;
Lying under the trees and clouds -
Their beds kissed by the sun and wind.
Today we wondered about an unmarked spot;
Who lies beneath this hollowed ground?
Was it a babe, child, young or old?
No indication could be found.
Today we saw where Mom and Dad lay.
We had been here once before
On a day we'd all like to forget,
But will remember forever more.
Today we recorded for kith and kin
The graves of ancestors past;
To be preserved for generations hence,
A record we hope will last.
Cherish it, my friend; preserve it, my friend,
For stones sometimes crumble to dust
And generations of folks yet to come
Will be grateful for your trust.

Eliza Jane (Gray) STRODE
I saw this & wanted to help you in correcting the information about:Eliza Jane (Gray) STRODE 1874-1924 was the d/o of John & Elizabeth(Riggens) GRAY. She married Isaac Lewis STRODE in 1895 in Fulton Co. IL. He was the s/o Silas Coleman STRODE & Sarah M.(Paul). Eliza Jane(Gray) Strode was a daughter-in-law to Silas & Sarah(Paul)STRODE. Silas & Sarah had 11 sons, no daughters. Joseph Andrew "Doc" STRODE married Sarah E.(Gray), she was a sister to Eliza(Gray).
Joseph Andrew "Doc" STRODE was my great-grandfather, Silas Coleman Strode was my 2nd great-grandfather.I am hoping this clears things up a little bit. I submitted a nice newspaper interview called a Ramblers Notes about Silas & Sarah Strode on the fultoncountyancestors.org site that will help confirm the info about Silas & Sarah STRODE. Thank-you so much for adding the memorial for them. Tina(Payne)Reed

Nancy Jane{Bradley}Booth fag#81011254
I was wondering if you would be able to help me gather some information on Nancy Booth and her family. I also would like to have a copy of the picture that you found in the Library. I have contacted the library several times but they have never answered my letters for information on the Booth family. I would be willing to pay you for your time i live in Ohio and i do not drive to gather the information myself. Thank you for any help you can provide for me. I am trying to put together a book of my moms Bradley family from Fleming co Ky. Thank you again. Patty#47517041

Carnahan
I am researching my mom's side of the family their name is Carnahan. I see where you have done a lot of work on the Carnahan graves and was hoping that maybe you were related, or had additional information that could help me fill in some blanks. Our Carnahan line is: Wallace>Lafayette>James>Aaron. I was hoping to find pictures to go with each of the people in our line. Also my great aunt has some pictures and she doesn't know who the people are in the photos. She is trying right now to get back in touch with some of her cousins. Any help would be appreciated.

Please remove the "note about a postcard" from her pictures. This will allow another picture to be added which this area is used for. Thank you
