I Am a Daughter of Gerhard Taute an Velma Sims/Taute They addopted me in 1952|
my Birth parents where Lewis Samuel Couchman an Verti Sprague Couchman I am researching both familys.
I'm Married to Harold Summers, with 3 children an 2 grandkids. My husband an I travel alot an if I am in your area I will check to see if some one needs a pic an do that for you.
After finding my birth family '37'years it took to find them. on my 40th birthday I found my birth family. I still have contact with both family's.
This all brought me into researching the history on both side's of the family's an when I can I will love to take picture's of your family head stone's. It is important to know something about your family's. Happy Hunting.
Linda Anne Summers.

Appreciate you work so very much and wanted you to know that I just added you to my F/G Friend list. Your bio is inspiring - good work, lady.

Thank you, Linda, for a last name for Mattie. As for a grave marker, I don't think there is one. Linda Brown of Memphis went over the Memphis Cemetery especially slow and sure. Since there is no photo with the Memorial leads me to believe she did not find any kind of marker at all. She is very meticulous, so I think if there had been one she would certainly have photographed and added it. Wish I had a better answer!

Yes, I can link them for you. Please go to the edit tabs and submit the info. for me. Thanks for all you do to help fellow researchers on findagrave!!

She is on her twice because you must not have checked to see if someone had already added her. I did it in 2010. Do you want to take remove mine?

I have been spending some time on and off looking for information about the Hogbin family. I have not found much. I just keep hitting brick walls. Can you give me any names or dates that might help me in my research.
You're welcome. I also took one of George Billings since he was close if you'd like an updated picture I can post it to this site.
I am hoping to go in mid-May and I will be going back to Greenmount. If they are available to select then I will take some for you. It helps to have the locations so please add that information it really speeds up the process and then I can take more pictures. For Warren though, please let me know if you find out more information because I'd like to find him for you.
Hi Linda, I hope you enjoy the photo I posted for Warren and Ida. I was not able to find Warren Billings who died in 1928 even with the information on the location. There were some gravestones missing for my family that I will followup on because unfortunately either time or vandals seem to have taken a few (not too many compared to other places) tombstones. This may or may not be the case for Warren. Greenmount is a very nice and clean place so perhaps if you call them they may have some insight. If you'd like, I can send you the originals of the photo I took. The best of luck and let me know if I can be of any additional help. I don't live in the area so it is a visit for me but I plan to go back again in the next two months.

Hi Linda (nice name),
I have done some looking through books and information that I have and so far I have not found any additional information on Hiram Hogbin. I thought I remembered running across the name Hogbin, but maybe I saw it in something at the library. Unfortunately the oldest local newspaper that the library has on microfilm started in 1869. I don't currently have plans to return to the library right away, but will put Hiram on my list to see if I can find out anything about him when I do go. If you have any other information about the family that might help me with the research, please send that along.
