I am the descendant of immigrants who came from the northwestern European countries beginning in the early 1600's. My mother, Myra Elsie Kell McCreery introduced me to genealogy many years ago. I did a little research but couldn't keep up with mom. I have done some research in the last 7 years, but now that I'm retired I can continue working on my mother's research. I joined find-a-grave as it was free. It's a nice source of information and a way to recognize some of my ancestors. I've added 13 Memorials and manage 14. I've added a photo and 33 Virtual Flowers. Currently I'm going through my mom's paperwork to ensure everything is in my tree and hope to write up some of the story of my mom's life and complete the work she began on her mother's life.
