Glasnevin Cemetery
Hello again,

Can you tell me how to locate a particular grave at Glasnevin? I've just found another family member, but I don't know how to determine where exactly in Glasnevin they're buried.

Burke Headstone
Hello again,

I see that you've added the picture of the Burke family headstone to the other two profiles.

I received your message the other day, asking me to find the plot numbers, or burial location. I put it on the back burner, as I wasn't quite sure how to go about trying to obtain that information.

So thank you again. :o)

Joseph Burke

A thousand times, thank you!

I've been working really hard, combing the internet, trying to piece together the scraps of information I have about my Irish family.

And though I've been to Ireland once before, getting to Dublin is a difficult & very expensive undertaking for me, as I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

The photo you posted is definitely my relative, and it's very gratifying to have my research confirmed by literally being carved in stone.

RE: Sir Henry Thynne
Hello again, Michael.

Thank you so much for the tip for searching the Glasnevin Cemetery website.

I'm finding that many of my relatives are in fact buried there.

Would you perhaps be willing to take photos of their graves for me?

RE: Sir Henry Thynne
Thanks again, Michael. :o)

Do you happen to know if there are any Burkes of Danesfield in Moycullen, Co. Galway buried in Glasnevin? Several members of that family died in Dublin.

Sir Henry Thynne
Thank you very much for adding a photo of to Sir Henry's grave! Do you know if Henry is buried with his wife? The inscription on the stone is ambiguous. It looks as though it's only his wife's headstone.

On another note, are you by chance related to Sir Henry? He was my 1st cousin 5x removed, and I'm very interested in trying to learn more about his family.

Thanks for the grave number. I've made a note in the three memorials that I created.
