RE: Mary Polly Roberts-Boyd
I have read what you and R.Holly wrote, and as I said, if Mary Boyd's Headstone can't be found, I will surely Love all the Time and Effort that you both have done. All I can go by is this Large File of Family history I was given before the Holidays of 2014. And I just was not told who had did the work that I was given. But was better than what I had started with and that was nothing at all. As all but for one Aunt that is 98 now. All my mother's side of my family has passed on many year's ago. Take Care, Mark Edwin Thomas

I will go tomorrow and check out Clayton cemetery for Mary Boyd. She is not listed in the records, but I will look and let you know what I find.

RE: Mary Polly Roberts-Boyd
Hello R.Holly & Kathy Collins Rouse Winks (#47414547)
My Family Info comes from a record that was passed onto me & and this is what it reads.
John Boyd was a Revolutionary War Solder from the State of N.Carolina. His place of Residence in 1782 was Burke Co., N.C. in his pension claim, from the National Archives Washington D.C.,he states that his places of residence following the Rev. War were N. Carolina, Virgina, Tennessee & Indiana.
He and his wife are buried in the Clayton Cemetery & there are Headsstones on there Graves.

In 1843 ten of his children were still living. (This Family list does show that he had a total of 16 children) This list is taken from his pension application in Washington D.C.
So to you both, R.Holly and Kathy Collins Rouse Winks (#47414547) I don't know if this will help at all, but does say that she also has a Headstone with John Hillary Boyd Sr. is the full name that was sent in this family info I was sent.
If this can not be found, So be it. But Thank-you both for your Help. Take Care, Mark Edwin Thomas.
