Do It Now
I expect to pass through this world
Any good thing, therefore, that I can do
or any kindness that I can show
to any fellow human being
let me do it now.
Let me not defer nor neglect it,
for I shall not pass this way again.
– Stephen Grellet (1773–1855)
My motivation is to provide historical records to others. "Pay it forward." If what I've posted helps you in your genealogy or provides you some comfort because you can visit a grave from near or far, then my mission is accomplished and I urge you to help others in some way.
I don't mind if you use my pics for your personal use or even on your genealogy website but say where it came from!! If you save a photo to your computer from findagrave.com, reference findagrave.com and the memorial number, let others know about this website! Without the reference, I consider the image stolen.
If you have any add'l info or corrections on any of the memorials I have posted please use the "EDIT" tab on the memorial to send me a "correction or suggestion."
I am most willing - and passionate - to make the memorials as detailed as possible. I use online and/or hard copy vital records and census records, along with family genealogies and other biographies, data, and newspaper articles to make the memorials I post as complete as possible - this research takes time so if you come across one of my memorials that lacks details and you have some, please help me out and send the details along to me via the EDIT tab.
Upon my death I authorize any of my memorials to be transferred to any FAG contributor as they are requested.
[thanks to FAG Cathy Clark for this statement on her contributor page as this is my desire and agreement wholeheartedly - perfect and appropriate]

William Moulton (1737-1823) is my 4th Great-Grandfather on my mother's side. He is buried in Conway, MA. Thank you for creating this fine Find A Grave online memorial with many details of his military service. I am wondering if you might consider transferring this memorial to me. Thank you, and best wishes.

If I understand the Find a Grave rules, a wife with more than one husband is to be listed under the name of the one she is buried with...so I'm going to leave Daisy as a Giddings.

Looks good to me. Thanks for making the link.
Either the internet connection has improved here in India or I've resolved the "pilot error" and am doing a little better today. So, I've made a note on Henry's page to say that he presumed second wife was Harriet Wood.
|Denise Witwer Lahr||Clarissa Miller Stevens|
I did not decline a change of Miller to maiden rather than middle name. You did not send that one. I declined the request you sent to link her to Luther Prouty because she was already linked. I have made the name change.

Thanks so much for the added information on Virgil C. Sweet. Kind regards.

Thanks very much for going out of your way to keep the spreadsheet.
|Stephen Williams||Berkshire Historical Society|
Thanks again. I will have to go to Pittsfield when the weather breaks and I can camp out in Florida. The Berkshire Historical Society has an article called Bible Records Tinney Volume 12 #1. I will have to trace it as well as the Jenks family history.
|Stephen Williams||Levi and Chloe Tinney Bradley|
Thank you very much for the information. Tomorrow I will talk to the Town Clerk in North Adams to see if they could find a death certificate for Chloe. Hopefully it will give her parents names and they will match my 4th great grandparents. I will talk to the cemetery keepers since you gave me a section in the cemetery. Your information says that they are buried in the old Phillips Cemetery that is now part of Southview. Once again thank you for the helpful information.
|Stephen Williams||Levi and Chloe Tinney Bradley|
You posted a picture of the Southview Cemetery entrance in North Adams, MA. I assume you also published the information on the burial sites of Levi and Chloe Tinney Bradley. Do you know where they are buried and do they have grave stones in the Southview Cemetery? The town of North Adams maintains the records for the Southview Cemetery and they have no records for them.
I live in Old Lyme, CT and make several trips a year to Colrain, Charlemont, Florida and North Adams searching for Tinney records.
|Janet Muff||Jean Page|
Thank you for her husband's name.
