 | RE: Chamberlin Photos You're very welcome. I don't know if I'll get back there this fall but if I do I'll be sure to look for the gravestone if it hasn't already been taken. Bill | | | diana greb
 | RE: Kay Blakely Question Hi--Oregon didn't start keeping DCs until 1903. Portland did keep them earlier--not sure when they started. Sorry I can't help with her DC. Diana | | | Sandy

 | Ben & Susie Beers O.K. Here is what I think I have figured of on Susie and Benjamin Beers thing. It appears that Susie died during childbirth Dec 31, 1872. Ben, the baby, lived 6 months and 16 days dying on July 10, 1873. (weird side note: I took the picture on July 10th) Halliday may have been Susie's maiden name. If you were looking for an adult Benjamin Beers, he is not buried in this family plot. If you want to let me know, I would be curious if this makes any sense to you. | | | Nancy Hart
 | Benjamin Beers Lake View I went back and took a 3rd look for Benjamin (yes, I can be like a dog with a bone) What I hope is his headstone is in the Halliday plot and if you look very closely you can make out ...son of Susie Beers... died 1873 age 6 months 16 days. If you were looking for an infant, we have success. I will post the other headsones in the plot tonight. Marble headstones might seem like a fitting tribute to a loved one but 140 Cleveland winters take their toll. | | | Maria Barker
 | RE: William Wood your very welcome we enjoy taking pictues of headstones and graveyards history facinates us and we have an immense respect for not only the dead but our ancestors! have a great day! | | | JanisG
 | RE: Beers Photos You're welcome! It was a pitiful little cemetery. A little TLC from someone would do it a world of good . . . Anyway, you might be interested to know that there was a third person on Byram & Elizabeth's column. All we could read was James, but we're hoping to get back to do a foil reading and decipher more. If you know who this is, let me know, and we'll fill in the rest of it. We did put a memorial up on Find A Grave for him, so you can see the photo there. Have fun!Added by JanisG on Dec 07, 2011 6:45 AM | | | Invenio Sepulchrum
 | Woods/Multnomah Park Hi Michelle! Eric and I are frequently over at the Park on Sunday afternoons between 2 & 4p. sometimes we get an announcement out on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Friends-of-Multnomah-Park-Cemetery/339074560655 and sometimes not! We would love to have you help out in our (not so) little project. David | | | Celeste Simmons
 | RE: THANK YOU (Nevius and Condit) Would you like to have these memorials? They are not my family and I upload these so that it will help family members, I am happy to transfer all of them that I have. Also, note that I have uploaded two Condict's from the Mount Freedom Cemetery, which is only about 2 or 3 miles from this one. | | | Jay Stone
 | Jonathan Adams #65698285 Do you know if this is the son of Jonathan ADAMS, Jr. and Dorcas MASON-ADAMS, husband to Catherine BOYDEN-ADAMS? Which would make him a 3rd Cousin to Pres. John Quincy ADAMS? | | | | [View all messages...] |
