Bio Photo Have been checking into my ancestry for quite some time and jjust love it. I was so happy to receive photos of my relatives headstones that I decided to become a volunteer. I'm a dental assistant manager (my career for 33 years) during the day. i love walking through the cemeteries, especially ones with very old headstones. So peaceful and so many untold stories.....Anytime you find that I am managing a memorial for a family member of yours, please let me know and I will be happy to transfer it to you. You may also feel free to use any of the photos that I have taken.

Gwendolyn Mae Sherman
I am writing to you for help on the resting place of Gwendolyn Mae Sherman d/o Herbert T. Sherman and Bea Martha Lemma Sherman. She was a 5 year old child and murdered by a lumberjack in the area in 1920-1921. She was buried in Hurley Cemetery. I have to get more information out of newspaper articles. You were so helpful on finding the tombstones of the Boyington's in Hurley Cemetery I thought in future you might help me?
Is there a listing in the library in Hurley, Iron Co., WI of burials in Hurley Cemetery? The funeral was out of her Aunt and Uncles house in Hurley Fred Johnson or Fred Peterson. She was my great grandfather's great granddaughter from his first marriage.
Articles from newspaper's in Northern Michigan and Wisconson. The man (McLeod) was captured and sent to prison in Waupau, WI. for life.

Thank you for adding the grave photo to Margaret Tulppo's memorial. I didn't know her husband was buried next to her. I created a memorial for Michael Tulppo. Would you mind adding the photo to him as well?

I really appreciate your help!

I may have already photographed Howard's and Myrtle's stones. My dog was barking at them. We released her and she hopped up on one of the stones she'd been staring at. This is not normal behavior from her as she is my well-trained assistance dog. We think she saw a ghost!! If I can find the photos I will post them, and if not, I will take new photos. The snow may be gone from there by now.

Thank you so much for going out to get this photo. Even though it is not of the maker it still shows where he is buried.

Thank you answering my request for photos. Even though they have no headstones, I appreciate the photos of their plots.
