Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been researching my family genealogy for a quite a few years now and it's become one of my passions.

I've found cemeteries to be such a valuable resource for genealogical information and have lengthened the branches of my family tree - thanks to physically visiting cemeteries and by 'virtually' visiting cemeteries on this site.

I hope that by recording graves in the cemeteries that I visit will help others. Feel free to use my headstone photos for your research.

I worked very hard to add these graves and photos to this site. I am more than happy to add any additional information to any memorial. If you are requesting a transfer, please make sure that it is within guidelines (they are a direct relative within four generations).

Transfers
Valerie,

I transferred these memorials to you because you had relatives of theirs. I only keep memorials of my own ancestry or relatives. I hope you understand.

Thank you,
K

Thanks
Hi Valerie,

I was curious to know whether or not we were related or have we met? I noticed that you are the person who added my mother & my brother to this website. Rev. Rosiland E. Smith & Colin Charles Ashely Smith. Thanks for doing this.

RE: Melwood Cemetery
On Richard Carlton Blankenship's page you added the "Melwood Cemetery Photo" and under it shows the following: Cemetery Photo
Don't show cemetery photos
on this memorial [?]
Added by: Valerie C Just wondering what this means?

is there a reason you do not want me to have cemetery photo's for Richard C. Blankenship?

RE: Ouzts
Yes, I've had problems concerning a duplicate he created of one of my memoirals. He argued about the name and Find A Grave namng conventions. He also talked about how Find A Grave is ripping people off and is going to sell their information, etc. I wrote about the duplicate, but never got a response from Find A Grave. I thought about sending a duplicate complaint to every member of the Find A Grave staff to see if anyone would respond.

RE: Mary & Isaac Ouzts
By BTW, I authored THE OUZTS FAMILY IN AMERICA, Edgefield County South Carolina Roots, a 1,889 page Ouzts family history and I published it in 2007 for the OFA, and I do not intend to repeat the typing of it to you for insertion into Find A Grave.

All the information that I, and the Ouzts family, had in 2007 is in that book.

The Ouzts family is also on my Rootsweb posting at : http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=hcouzts

Our OFA web site is at :
http://theouztsfamilyassociation.org/

It is time for us to come to an understanding of what Finda A Grave is all about and what the intention of that organization is today.

I know that you have done a lot of work on the family in cemeteries, and I appreciate not having to enter all the information, but I have been at this since 1990 and I am now 76, so if you are really interested perhaps you are in line to replace me when I am no longer here on earth. But you need to begin to attend our Annual Ouzts Family reunion if you have that desire.

If it is the number of "creations" that you are protecting, you should know they will remain yours even after the transfers for maintenance. It is time to begin to work together and not at cross purposes.

RE: Mary & Isaac Ouzts
I am growing very tired of your excuses for your refusals to transfer our Ouzts Family to the Genealogist of the Ouzts Family Association, formed in 1949 for the purpose of maintianing our family genealogy. I do know who your are and where in our family you exist. I am very close to filing a complaint with Find A Grave to resolve our problem.

Valerie Renee Craft (b. 3/9/1984 Decatur GA)

You are the eight generations from Isaac's brother, George Ouzts and seven generations from the only Ouzts, George's daughter Elizabeth OUZTS Dorn.

Isaac's is your 5th greatuncle. He is my 3rd greatuncle and I am the Ouzts Family genealogist.
