All photos we have uploaded to FindAGrave are for the members to use as they see fit.
We have absolutely no relative, except our own children and grand children, in Georgia. All of the Georgia memorials have been gleamed while walking cemeteries searching to help Georgians that have relatives here and have moved out of this state.
In Tenn. W. V. and Conn. We have many memorials put on that are not members of our family.
When looking for information by walking cemeteries or looking thru data we would gather extra info and we did not just want to throw it away. We hope that it will benefit someone out there.
IN SOME OTHER STATES.
While traveling we would sometimes stop at cemeteries and just walk and photograph interesting headstones. These too are meant for family or friends.
We surely have enjoyed our adventures with FindAGrave and it's original quest of helping folks find there missing loved ones final resting place.

|JAG2||RE: Louis Benjamin Shinn|
His burial information was taken off of a transcript of Oak Hill Cemetery. It has his information on a headstone and the name of his wife, Rowena, with no dates. Since I have received your note, I have done some investigation on Ancestry.com where I discovered that he was cremated so I don't know if his ashes are buried here or not. I have requested a photo of the grave marker.
Also, I discovered that Rowena died in 2007 so I created her memorial at Oak Hills Cemetery too (Find A Grave Memorial# 138365132). These are not relatives of mine and I was just trying to help in the documentation of Oak Hill cemetery in Find A Grave. Let me know how you want to go forward with the Shinn's memorials. I can transfer, delete or manage these memorials, whichever is appropriate.

Sorry to be so long in responding; they say you have to make hay when the sun shines, so I guess you could say I've been making hay. In re the Golins, there is no record at West, Peacedale, or Lake Avenue. If they were Catholic, they might be at St. Joseph's. I can make inquiry, if you like. The Rich photo was retaken Sunday morning, I trimmed the grass and brushed off some of the lichen; it's a North-facing stone under a tree, so it gets little light. All this to say, you are welcome for the photos, I'm happy to be of help.
