Bio Photo I transcribe and photograph cemeteries/grave sites because I know there is someone out there who can't make the trip or who doesn't really know where their loved ones resting place may be. My Motto: By Preserving Our Past, We Prepare For The Future!jhh That one transcription or photo CAN make a difference!

I photographed a lot and did not see a headstone for him. I was interested because he was a police officer killed in the line of duty and my husband gathered the names years ago for the Georgia monument in Forsyth County. I have come across many police officers in the Catholic Cemetery and several that are on the Memorial monument for being killed in the line of duty. There was no headstone for him like I said. But the others are there. I wonder what happened to it. It is over in the older section, The Far Side of the cemetery so maybe it was damaged in some way and removed. Thanks for looking for me.

RE: Andersonville National Cemetery
Hi JoAnn,
Im sorry for the delay as I just saw your post. Im assuming your asking about the civil war graves only? Andersonville is still an active National Cemetery. If this is what your asking about you can purchase the " Atwater death list " through the historic sites bookstore but I have also seen it on ebay on occasion. Is there someone your looking for in particular?

RE: Find A Grave
Hey there. I'm currently looking for James Raiford and Aseneth (Evers) Strickland. I believe them to be buried in Red Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Jesup, GA. I'm also looking for Hales Albert and Emma Elona (Rutherford) Snow. I believe them to be buried in or around Trion, GA. If you can help with that, that would be fantastic. If you require more info, please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you!
